Alex shrugged and closed the door behind them as he pulled out a chair from the corner and sat down in front of a huge plant with big pretty orange lilys on it. He smiled slightly at the plant and looked at her. "I honestly never saw weed as a big deal. I just think there's a limit." He looked back at the flower. -
It's fine. Is this soap boring you? Because I did say before it had been a while..)
She nodded "I agree..." She walked among the flowers as she talked "Which is why I'm really not sure why I need to be here." She looked over at him and ahrugfed "Beats prison, though." -
I'm just not used to doing real life soaps so I'm kinda off on my game sorry :/))
Alex nodded slowly and lightly touched the flowers petals. "To think you only have nine weeks in here." He said quietly and frowned before picking off a dead petal and tossing it to the side so new ones could grow. -
Real life soaps?)
She raised an eyebrow at him before continuing her walk among the flowers. "Only nine weeks? Only?" -
Like no supernatural stuff etc.)
Alex watched her walk around and he laughed. "That's not that bad compared to how long some of the people have been here. The old rehab center I worked at had someone who stayed there for ten years. He was completely happy and never wanted to leave." He shook his head and didn't take his gaze away from her. "I'm sure in no time you'll be back on the streets hanging with your friends and getting higher them Cloud 9." -

She smiled at the thought. "I usually smoke alone, but that does sound nice... Ten years though, sheesh." She shook her head. "So what made you want to get into this sort of business, hmm?" She looked up at him and was surprised to find his gaze already on her. She forced herself not to blush. -
He grunted slightly and shrugged. "When I was younger my little sister had a lot of problems and so she came to me for everything. I was the older brother who would beat up the boys who wanted to mess with her.. I tried to save her on multiple occasions but she was more focused on when the next time she could get high or drunk." His eyes went emotionless as he said the next words that had been haunting him for his whole life. "She killed herself and I felt like I had failed so I swore to find a way to help others from the same fate." He looked away and started to play with his flowers again.

By the time he had finished, EJ had made her way next to him, one aisle over. She leaned back against the table and sighed. "Damn, I'm sorry.." She looked at the ground. "Sounds horrible..." Her voice trailed off, not quite sure what to say. -
He shrugged slightly and picked a few more dead buds off the plant. "And that's what the people here deal with.. Pain. I'm trying to help them understand it instead of giving into temptation."

She nodded at his words and thought for a bit. She began fiddling with a plant of her own "You know, it wasn't your fault. With your sister and all... You did the best you could, sometimes a person just...doesn't get it."

He listened to her words and nodded slowly. "I know. But sometimes we have to help without being asked for help." He said quietly and sighed deeply. Once he was satisfied with his plant he sat back and folded his hands in his lap.

She nodded at his words and continued messing with her plant. She was unsure of what to say, so she let the comfortable silence rest between them.

He looked at the time and pushed himself out of his chair. "I have to go and everyone had the afternoon off.. Just instead of complaining of where you are, be glad of what you have." He turned and walked out of the green room and headed for the main building.
