YES))
With a nod saffron closed her eyes and took a big breath. 'Calm. Keep calm. Listen to Dean and let the wings work for themselves.' Soon enough, she was starting to rise higher and higher and with a laugh she opened her eyes and looked at Dean. "This is actually easier than I thought it would be," she said, and then she looked around again. -
Pain. Saffron was familiar with the feeling and in some ways it had become a well known friend for her. Just another factor of her twisted life that added with the rest of the big mess of her life. Closing her blue eyes to let the darkness grow around her she opened them again and looked at the little silver blade in her hand. Briefly, she wondered what it would feel like to let Death have her after all. Was it a never ending sleep? Or was it a bright light at the end of the tunnel? Who would miss her and who would care? Probably no one. With a soft sigh she let pain fill her arm as she carefully pulled the razor across the inside of her left wrist. Pain would work for now but how long will it satisfy her?))
Dean laughed and loosened his grip on her so they were holding hands. "I miss it." He said quietly and pushed down hard on his wings letting himself shoot above Saffron and he let go of her and looked down at her with a grin. -
Oh my gosh that's amazing))
Again, Saffron laughed and she tried to follow Dream who was now hovering right over her head. "No fair," she stated. "You've flown longer than I have." Saffron then slowly made her way up to Dean and soon they were face to face. -
Does it cover Saffron well?)
Dean laughed and kissed her while flying. "I've been out of practice for awhile." He said and started flying forward, leading her across the city as the lights twinkled bellow them and stars above them. -
*claps* Yes, yes it does~! ^~^ ))
Saffron reached a hand out so the two of them could hold hands while flying. She looked at all the pretty lights that the city showed and she laughed. A thought crossed her mind, but she decided not to let that thought diminish that wonderful moment. She was alive. Breathing. She was okay, and as she looked over at Dean she saw everything that she needed. -
Dean smiled as they flew together and his thumb lightly brushed over hers a few times as they flew. "Beautiful isn't it?" He said over the wind and smiled at her. The wind trousled his hair and he closed his eyes for a momentx
-
"It's amazing," she said while still looking at him. Her heart fluttered a little as she looked at him. Everything had changed. She didn't have her scars anymore, and she didn't even have the urge to cut anymore. "Thank you," she then said, still not taking her eyes off of him.
-
Dean smiled and let himself roll over on to his back and pulled her so she was flying above him and his hands held her hips lightly. "Let's get home.. I'll get things cleaned up. Then we can either move as far away as you want or stay here so you can finish school." He grinned up at her and watched as the moon and stars framed her body and his heart swelled.
-
A squeal escaped her lips as Dean rolled under her and he flew on his back while she was flying above her. She smiled down on him and laughed. "Sounds good love," she said softly, her eyes sparkling because of all the lights around her. "Let's go."
-
He shivered slightly at just looking at her. Pleasure filled his very soul as he suddenly kissed her long enough to take their breath away. "Race you home." He whispered against her lips and with a laugh he was gone.
-
Saffron looked over at Dean who was flying faster than a bullet over towards the apartment. She didn't know how to go faster. She remembered a little bit about drag and lift from science and shop, but not much about how birds fly so fast. She was like a bird now... She always wanted to be a bird. She giggled a little as she started to flap her wings and she felt as if she was almost swimming through water. She picked up speed and she started to go faster and faster.
-
Dean landed quietly on his balcony and left the door open for Saffron before walking into his room and looking at the mess. He ran a tounge over his lips and picked up Kyle's body and then walked back to the balcony and took off into the air grunting with effort. He was going to dump the bodies off somewhere in the desert or a near by lake. He passed Saffron and came back a moment later and repeated the process twice more before walking inside to warm up and looking beyond exhausted.
-
By the time Dean was done with taking the bodies wherever he needed to take them Saffron was standing in Dean's room, looking at all the blood on the ground. She couldn't help but feel as if all the blood was spilled because of her; on her account. She stared, silently with her wings folded into her back again so they were out of sight. There was no way that she was going to die, then wake up as an angel and be totally happy. There was going to be a bit of mental horror she'd have to go through before she felt anywhere close to okay.
-
Dean walked up behind her and looked around at the blood. "Come on.. Let's go sleep in the living room." He grabbed his blankets and lead her to the living room. "I need a shower so go ahead and get some sleep." He kissed her head and walked towards his bathroom. Dean looked as if he had a heavy weight on his shoulders and it was dragging him down before he disappeared behind the bathroom door and the water started to run.
-
Saffron didn't get any sleep while Dean was showering though. She just sat there on the couch and thought and wondered about things. Where was Victoria? What happened to her? What were they going to do to her if she ever came around again?
What could she do now that she was an angel? Did she have some sort of power? She looked down at her hands and wondered what she could do with them. What good she could do.
