Victoria looked down at her with a raised eyebrow. "Oh please, I couldn't care less if you cared or not about yourself because you obviously don't." She used every word like a mini dagger to tear the girl up inside. "I just want to see Dean suffer a little.." Then the smell of Saffron's blood hit her and she looked at Dean. "Oath bound.." She whispered quietly with wide eyes.
Dean bared his teeth like a wild animal and went to lunge forward but a punch to his mouth rocked his head back and made blood pool from the corner of one side of his mouth. -
The words that Victoria said to her ripped Saffron apart. She didn't even know why. It was true, she could care less about herself, she had scars to prove that, but hearing that come from someone else just made it feel more real, and more hurtful than when she reminded herself.
Kyle smelt it too and he looked down at Saffron, then over at Victoria. "I knew something was up..." he said to himself, but then spoke to Victoria, "this is going to tear him apart if he looses another Oath." -
Victoria ran her tongue over her lips and looked at Kyle. "Tear him up enough to never make him leave.. Right?" She frowned as if actually thinking about someone else's feelimgs besides her own for once. Something hard to believe when it came to her.
Dean arched his back in a silent cry of frustration and his eyes turned into hard, murderouse gleams in the darkness of the room. If he could get to his knife and show them how pissed off he was.. -
Kyle looked at Victoria and nodded. "If we rip him up enough... make it slow," he whispered so only the two of them could hear. "If you don't want to, I will." Kyle then backed away from Victoria so she could make up her mind and he looked over at Dean, an amusing expression playing on his face.
Saffron tried to struggle against Victoria again, moving her arms and trying to pull away from her. "Come on," she said frustrated. "What did we ever do to you? What could you want with a stupid mortal like me and someone as good as Dean? Let. Us. Go," she pleaded. -
Victoria rolled her eyes and ran another long cut across Saffron's arm and then another one across her thigh. "Dean is good? Please. He's just as dark and twisted as we are. Well he was.. Until suddenly he decided to be a knight in shinning armor again." She laughed and looked at Dean. "I'm guessing he never told you about his dark days after his first Oath was broken?" She mused.
Dean narrowed his eyes and looked at Victoria's feet. He ran a tongue over his dry lips and tried to pretend she wasn't sayimg those words. That she wasn't the one who was cutting up Saffron. He just wish this wouldn't have had happened in the first place. Struggling once more against the arms that held him he managed to break free for a moment causing Victoria to jump slightly but then they got him back under control. -
The feeling in Saffron's hand was numb with fear and the steady trickle of blood that she was slowly loosing. She looked up at Victoria and through gritted teeth she said, "Please enlighten me. And you seem scared of him. You're trying to act big and strong, but I can see you jump, I may be a mortal, but I'm not that stupid. Again, please enlighten me."
Kyle stood back and leaned against the wall. He watched Dean struggle, and Saffron talk back to Victoria. He wondered what Victoria would tell the girl. Would she tell the truth of his dark days, or make some stuff up along the way? -
Victoria narrowed her eyes and frowned slightly. "It's wise to be nervous around someone who's killed more then I have." She blinked and shrugged her shoulders back slightly causing her wings to ruffle. "Dean's spilled more blood then I have.. Wouldn't surprise me if he found a few girls to put his pain in." She smirked and watched Dean struggle.
Dean growled and grunted. "Lies!" He hissed and got a swift punch to the jaw making his head snap to the side. Blood was starting to fill the air and there wasn't much he could do about as Victoria increased the cuts along Saffrons body. -
Saffron did her best to ignore Victoria's words. She wouldn't believe a damn thing that came out of that pretty mouth of hers. She tried to yank her arm out of Victoria's grasp. "I prefer a razor, not a bloody knife thank you," she said while still trying to get away from her. Breathing suddenly became a chore for her and it took lots of effort for her to breathe. She was loosing blood, but... that's what she always wanted, isn't it? To die? To bleed out slowly so the world could fade away? And that's when Dean got hit and the blood flew in the air. She turned towards him and tried to twist her wrist out of Victoria's grasp even harder. "Let him... go!" she shouted, still struggling to breathe.
-
Victoria rolled her eyes and kicked Saffron's legs out from under her so she hit the ground with a thud and she peered down at the girl. "He watched as blood filled the streets and broke up families.. Even children were just another game for him." She hissed and put her boot on Saffron's chest.
Dean's head rolled forward as he struggled to stay awake and blood poured from his mouth in a slight stream. He groaned and tried to lift his head but it suddenly seemed to heavy for him and he couldn't lift his head. -
Saffron grabbed onto Victoria's foot. It seemed to be squeezing the air out of her, and it took too much effort to try and breathe. Her eye lids were becoming heavy, and it seemed as if her vision was going black around the edges. "People... People change," she said, trying to helplessly move Victoria's foot off of her chest.
With a smirk, Kyle walked over to Dean who was too weak to even hold his own head up. He walked over right besides him and grabbed his hair and forced him to look at what Victoria was doing. "Don't worry," he said to him. "She'll be dead soon enough." -
Victoria bent down low, her weight pressing harder into the girls chest. "People do change I suppose.. But the temptation of old ways is always there." She hissed and shoved the sword right into the girls stomach with a sickining sound.
Dean screamed and suddenly tore himself out of the hands gripping him and turned towards Kyle. He looked like a wild animal as he grabbed Kyle by the throat and shoved him into a wall. Saffron's blood filled the air and spilled across the floor as Dean tightened his hold on Kyle's throat.
Victoria screamed Kyle's name and went to ride and go after Dean who was chocking the life out of Kyle. -
Kyle's airway was being blocked as Dean's grip on his throat tightened and tightened. He tried to throw his fits out and hit Dean and tried to kick him, but without getting air inside his body it was really hard and slowly it was becoming useless. Dean wanted him dead, and if he wanted him dead, then dead he shall be.
Pain. It was so painful at first but then everything just went numb. The hand that had the cuts, her thigh, and her stomach. Slowly she was able to pull the sward out of her stomach and soon enough things became twice as numb. The sward hit the ground with a clanking noise. Breathing seemed easier all of a sudden. So much easier, and things were becoming colder, but she always liked the cold. She actually looked quite graceful lying there. Her hair was fanned out around her shoulders, her blue eyes were beautifully glassed over with tears. She was beautifully dying. -
Dean screamed and twisted his neck. A loud crack could be heard as Kyle's body thumped to the floor. Pain laced through his stomach as he felt Saffron's pain. He turned on the two boys and they looked at him with eyes full of fear.. Then he killed them. He had found his sword under his bed and cut their throat and their blood joined Saffron's. He turned towards Victoria and towered over her but suddenly she ran. He collapsed next to Saffron and pulled her into his lap. She was so beautiful.. Everything she did he loved. "Please don't leave me.." He whispered and tears slid from his eyes and dropped onto her shirt. "Saffron please.." He whined like a hurt wolf and buried his face into the crook of her neck.
Pain laced in his back and he screamed in pain as his back arched painfully and his head flew back. A snapping noise could be heared and suddenly two huge wings erupted from his spine causing him to yell in pain and he looked like a beautiful, pained winged warrior with both arms in the air and hands clenched into fist. They were a 20 ft wing span and a beautiful white with splashes of black and grey spattered across his wings. He fell over Saffron and his wings held them in a little room of their own. -
Tears streamed down her face as her breaths became shaky. Saffron reached out a hand and touched Dean's wings and she laughed a little. The laugh was pitiful and full of pain though. "Look," she said as a bit of blood leaked from her nose and mouth. "You've got your wings b-back." Another laugh escaped her throat in a painful way as she closed her eyes and leaned into Dean. "I won't go," she whispered shivering a bit as she clenched her stomach. "I'm just... I-I'm cold."
Suddenly she felt it. It was like her last breath was coming. The last bit of fresh air she'd be able to breathe in. Quickly, she gasped and opened her eyes and she looked into Dean's soft green eyes. She found a sort of comfort in them, something that would be a nice thing to see before she died. With her last gasping breath she was able to say, "I love you, goodbye."
Her arm fell limp and her head rolled back. Her eyes stared unblinking and glazed over at nothing as Death started to cloud her once beautiful blue eyes. Her pale skin seemed even more pale and her chest wasn't moving. She was gone. -
"No no please.." He whispered and hugged her tightly as tears filled his eyes and spilled over and down his face. "Please don't leave me.. I didn't get to tell you something.." He held her body tightly against his and tried to warm her up but it was useless. "I'm so sorry.. I love you." He whispered and cried harder.
He felt as if his world was gone.. Shattered in his hands and his heart was dead along with Saffrons. He failed. He failed again and he couldn't feel anything expect for the softness of her hair and the smell of her skin. Dean lightly closed her blue eyes and just rocked back and forth like that for awhile.
