On-screen, there was a sudden cut to the actual beginning of the movie, which gave the sound of the obnoxious ring of the school bell and showed various throngs of students chatting with one another. Then, as the camera moved downwards, it focused on a boy who was obviously an outcast. Oliver tilted his head, having seen this type of set-up dozen of times before.
"How cliche," he commented, but he wouldn't dare turn the movie off within the first few minutes. He knew that there were three parts to a superhero movie. These were finding out about the powers, learning how to use them, and applying them to fighting off the villian. Not all of them were like that, however. He recalled watching Unbreakable with Bruce Willis, which only focused on the first part. He bit down on his lip, leaning forward only a little. -

uM WOW THEY'RE REALLY ADORABLE sorry that took so long but omg omg they're both so cute together]
Will shrugged, and slowly moved his arm from Oliver's shoulders to around the other boy's waist. "Cliche's not so bad sometimes." He said softly, with a slight shrug. It sounded innocent enough, but there was an underlying tone of sadness. Cliche was what Will was wishing for right now. Cliche meant that parents stopped arguing and that boyfriends didn't plan out school shootings. It meant that Oliver would stop talking about his death like it was inevitable. It meant that somewhere along the line there would be a happy ending. Right now, his life seemed full of potential endings... but none of them happy. -
YEE BRUH OMG
ITS ALL GOOD
Oliver, being himself, failed to realized the upset in Will's voice. What he was capable of noticing was the affection of the other male, and so he decided to scoot a small bit closer to his partner. He did not verbally respond, but he did give him a gentle kiss on the cheek in order to show him that he had a special care for him. He directed his attention back to the film.
The boy was apparently leaving school and was in a hurry. This was most likely due to the fact that he was a victim of bullying or that he had alread discovered his powers and the movie was taking a different route. As the idea of superheroes raced through his head, he mentioned, "I'd be so cool to be a superhero." This was something normal from Oliver. -
OMG THO I DIDNT REMEMBER THEM BEING THIS CUTE MY HEART WAS NIT PREPARED
Will couldn't help but smile a little when Oliver's lips grazed his freckled cheek. It was hard to focus on the negative with his boyfriend so close. Especially because it was Oliver. It had taken a long time to get him to open up at all, and even longer before he was comfortable with any sort of physiccal contact. His next comment made Will smile again. "Yeah, but it'd be hard too. Everybody expecting you to fix everything all the time." He sighed softly and turned his head, nuzzling into Oliver's black locks. -
Nit prepared

"Nn, yeah. But it would be so nice to help. They wouldn't have to know who it was, ya know?" he replied, trailing off towards the end. His eyes scanned the television screen before he pressed pause. "It would be like, the shadow who helped everyone out of the bad situations and whatnot. No one would be able to hurt the innocent kids. People wouldn't have to be so scared." He said this all in way that it was clear he felt strongly about it.
He cooed somewhat once Will's face made contact with his hair. Actions like so had always comforted him in most situations. They were neither too physical or not physical enough. They were just right. -
wow i meant not sorry XD
Will smiled and nodded slightly, inhaling the cool, calming, familar scent of Oliver's shampoo. The arm around his waist pulled him the tiniest but closer. "Yeah, you be the superhero then. I'll be your Lois Lane." He grinned. "Think I could work a skirt?" He asked jokingly. But half of him was serious, too. Oliver really did want to help people, even if his plan for doing so was a bit violent. -
no it was funny af
This prompted Oliver to laugh somewhat obnoxiously. He covered his mouth with his free hand to conceal this annoying noise. He had always thought his laughed was like that of an idiot's. In order to cease the noise, he replied, "Totally." He leaned back in the couch, wavering his thumb over the play button. He wasn't so sure about watching the movie at that point. -
"The super short kind, like cheerleaders wear." Will laughed with him, a little disappointed when he suddenly muffled the sound. Oliver wasn't one of those people who laughed at everything, so Will always did what he could to fix that. "I like your laugh," he said softly, a small smile still tugging at the edges of his lips. He lifted his head from it's place nestled lightly in Oliver's hair and noticed him fiddling with the remote. "You can turn it off if you want," Will offered. "I wasn't really watching anyway." He confessed.
-
Oliver's cheeks turned a deep shape of pink at the compliment. As Will gave permission to turn the movie off, he did. "Thanks. I always think it's too loud. But thank you." He turned to make eye contact with Will. He examined his eyes in order to search for signs of emotion. "It's okay that you weren't watching. It didn't look too good. Probably aimed towards twelve year-old females. The boy hasn't been in any feature film before, anyways."
-
Will shrugged, glancing at the screen. "Yeah, you're probably right. Generic plot, cute actor, that's all it takes to keep girls happy." He held Oliver's gaze, hoping all the sadness he'd been feeling wouldn't show in his eyes. "You'd make a cuter superhero." He decided, niting the blush on Oliver's cheeks.

"It's not hard to make a blockbuster film anymore. Kind of upsetting in the world of major motion pictures and directing." He tsked, recalling that it had been his childhood dream to become a director/film-writer. Now, his plans would make that career impossible. He would be long gone before a shot came for him.
-
Will nodded sympathetically. "Yeah, I can see how that would kinda suck for directors who are actually talented." Will liked conversations like this. While he also obviously enjoyed the more romantic things they did, simply being able to talk reminded him that Oliver actually enjoyed his company.
