For the next few moments of time, Ronnie did his absolute best to calm down. He eventually was capable of doing so, and dug into his meal. Mitchell, on the other hand, was very preoccupied with anything that managed to distract him. His nose twitched as he examined the many pictures and paint colors. He decided that he would eat more salad, and he finally looked to the table again when he heard Emma speak. "It is."
-
Emma sighed and she began to eat again. After Mitchell spoke, the room seemed to go utterly silent for her. So she focused on her food, on the flavor, and the smell, anything but the silence that seemed to be all around her.
-
Mitchell wasn't very fond of the quietness, as he had spent days upon days in isolation. He wanted to be free again, to feel the warm, welcoming arms of the people he loved. Ronnie had been his friends for a number of years, and he was astonished that everything was so silent so fast. He furrowed his eyebrows, eating his salad with a grimace.
-
Emma looked up from her food and over to Mitchell. She found the man odd. Not in a threatening way, or a bad way, just, odd. He was eating his food with his eyebrows drawn together, and something like a grimace on his face. "Are you alright Mitchell," she questioned concerned.
-
"I am fine." He answered immediately, then mentioning, "I focus on my food due to a near-choking incident from about a month ago." He swallowed slowly, offering another smile just so that he could sell himself.
-
(s---, i thought this was the other soap for a second so I'm all "what does that have anything to do with what Carrie and Carl said?" then I'm all "oh... nevermind)
At the word chocking Emma's stomach dropped a little. "Oh, well, I'm so sorry to hear that. Must have been scary," she said. All of a sudden she didn't feel hungry anymore, so she set her fork down and folded her hands in her lap. -
yes it's okay i find it funny
Mitchell shook his head. "It's no big deal, just shook my up a bit." He seemed just about ready to stop eating, and he stretched his back out. -
xD I laughed at myself for being an idiot.
GUESS WHAT? OMG I ISH SO HAPPY.
"I bet," Emma said, her voice still concerned. She noticed that her mother-like side was coming in again, and she felt a little embarrassed at that. She cleared her throat and tried to pretend that she never said that. -
WHAAAAT?
Mitchell stood, asking Ronnie where the bathroom was. When he was directed, he walked off, heading towards the area. He didn't even need to use the bathroom, but he did need to calm himself down. I should have taken the medication. Wait, no! They bloat me. Nope. -
MY AUNTY DOESN'T HAVE CANCER ANYMORE!
Emma sighed after Mitchell left. Suddenly the party wasn't as fun like it was just a few minutes ago. She didn't want to be there anymore. Maybe she should just go home? Yes, she should. She didn't want to just sit off to the side, and besides, she could practice dancing or something like that. -
I KNEW THIS BUT CONGRATULATIONS ONCE AGAIN. xD
Mitchell splashed water onto his face once he arrived in the bathroom. He took a few moments to cool himself down before heading all the way back to the dining room. He announced, "I believe I should be getting home. Thank you, though. The meal was fantastic." -
OH YEAH. haha cant remember jacks--- so xD sorry xD
"Oh," Veronica said acting surprised. "So soon? Well, you're welcome, and thank you."
Emma cleared her throat, an odd question popped into her mind, and she wondered why it had popped in there in the first place, but what surprised her most was the fact that the words were then flowing out of her mouth. "Mitchell, do you think you can give me a ride home?"
(dats what happens, right?) -
that's fineeee xD
(he doesn't even drive because of his medications, they live like a block away from each other xD but let's change it up yes)
"You're welcome, and-" he turned to Emma, nodding slightly. "If you need one, sure." He nodded a few times. He was willing to drive the lady home, feeling it was necessary after she'd been so nice. -
I so forgetful it's not even funny.
oh, well, uh- pssh. Knew that. Knew that.
Emma managed a smile and slowly stood up and quietly thanked Mitchell. Veronica looked at the two, shocked that all of her guests were leaving so quick. "Well, I'll lock you two out then," she says slowly while standing up from the table. -
It's okaaaaay.
GOOD GOOD XD
Mitchell nodded, waving to Ronnie, who grinned sadly, feeling sympathy for his friend. The man walked to the door, not waiting for anyone else. He stood there, blinking in anticipation. He felt a shred of lettuce stuck in his molar, and this irritated him.
