The only light now was from the almost full moon. Anna sighed and grabbed a stick to start drawing in the dirt with.

A low growl emerged from behind a thick of bushes behind herself. She went still and ridged, and slowly set the twig down. Hurry and got your bow! Shouted a small voice in her head, but another one said, There's not enough time though...

As Anna slowly unsheathed her dagger from her belt Animal jumped out and clawed her back and arm, tearing through the shirt, leaving long scratches. She held her hand to her mouth and stifled a scream. It immediately jumped off and walked over to Vincent in a lanky manner, as if it had been previously injured.
