The cuts soon healed, leaving thick long scars. In the dark, it was hard to tell what kind of animal it was, but it was for sure not one from the human world. A note flew off from the Animal saying, Did you enjoy, dear? You must remember my powerful magic... "Ace." She mumbled as the scars started to burn. Anna closed her eyes and took a deep breath. -

Vincent growled louder "leave her out of this, ace" he said. -
"Calm down, Vincent. It's just... A note." She said standing up, slowly.

It felt as if someone took out a lit lighter and held them to each scar. She winced and picked up her bow.

"Lets get back to the shift. Besides, it should be almost over in like an hour and a half or so." She said running her fingers through her hair.
