Olivia fell asleep shortly after, hugging Kayleigh in her sleep, holding her close and mumbling softly. They could clean up in the morning, right now they both needed sleep.
-
Kayleigh awoke a few hours later, to the alarm next to their bed ringing. She groaned, having to pull away from Olivia to shut it off. "Babe, time to get up," she grumbled sleepily.
Marco still was fast asleep, clinging to Lucas like he was a teddy bear, his snoring face pressed against his neck. -
Olivia groaned and rolled over, reluctantly opening her eyes and sittingup. "Ugh, I need coffee," she mumbled, kissing Kayleigh on the cheek before grabbing her uniform and heading into the bathroom to shower.
Lucas was still asleep too, though even unconscious his arms remained tight and protective around his precious mate. -
Kayleigh stayed in bed for a few more minutes, before sliding out. She got dressed, deciding she'd shower later, and went around waking everyone up. She lifted the sleeping Brynn from her bed, carrying her along downstairs to set on the couch. Then, she went to the basement door, knocking a few times in hopes it would wake the hybrids. Finally, she went off, making coffee and starting on breakfast.
Marco jolted awake at the knocks, snorting loudly as his last snore left his throat. He started nudging Lucas, whining. "S' time for breakfast." -
Brynn sat contentedly on the couch, watching morning cartoons as she awaited her breakfast.
Lucas groaned, huffing. "Mm, okay, I'm hungry anyway." He sat up, his hair spiking out in every direction. -
Kayleigh decided to make pancakes and bacon this time, yawning as she cooked pancake after pancake.
"Your hair looks funny.." Marco moved to sit up, but then screeched, flopping back onto his stomach. "Owowow," he whimpered, cringing at the pain his felt in his butt when he tried to sit from the night before. -
Olivia came downstairs soon after, dressed in her police uniform. "Yum, smells good." She said with a smile, hugging Kayleigh from behind.
Lucas blushed, trying to pat down his hair, but the messy spikes were quickly forgotten when Marco cried out. He was at Marco's side in an instant, looking worried. "What, what is it? Are you okay? Where does it hurt? Are you bleeding?" -
Kayleigh smiled, patting the arms around her waist with her free hand. There was a tall stack of pancakes on a plate next to her already, and she was making the last one. "I made you coffee, it's over on the counter."
Marco turned red, now more embarrassed than in pain. He hid his face against the pillow, muttering against it. "M-my.. My butt hurts," he explained, huffing. -
Olivia sighed happily. "Perfect, I dunno what I'd do without you," she hummed happily, kissing the top of her head before strolling over to the coffee machine, pouring herself a cup.
Lucas sighed in relief, then blushed, a little embarrassed. "Sorry, I guess we went a little rough, huh?" he asked, kissing him quickly. "D'you want me to carry you?" -
"Probably go coffee-less." Kayleigh topped off the stack with the last pancake, and carefully carried it all to the table that was already set.
Marco nodded, scrunching up his nose. "Please," he stated, his ears flat in his hair in embarrassment. -
"What a sad life that would be," she lamented dramatically, taking a sip of the steaming liquid. "Brynn, honey, time for breakfast," she called as the pancakes were set down. She got up to set the table, just as Lucas arrived, holding Marco in his arms. Their clothes were ruffled enough that it was easy to infer what they'd been up to.
-
Kayleigh chuckled, turning to get the bacon that she'd made as well. When she saw the two hybrids, she smiled. "Good morning, lovebirds. I didn't know you'd be joining us this morning." Marco had his arms up around Lucas' next, and was trying to resist putting any friction on either of them.
-
Lucas gently set him down in a chair, sitting beside him and watching him for any signs of pain. "We were hungry," he admitted with a little grin. "Good morning, Fox and Doggy!" Brynn yelled, waving her fork in greeting. Olivia chuckled, taking another long sip of her coffee.
-
(brb I'm gonna go get breakfast)
Marco wrinkled his nose when he was set down, deciding to move so he was sat down on top of his legs and his bottom was raised away from anything. "Good morning," he said in reply to Brynn, waving back at her. Kayleigh sat down next to Brynn, helping her get some pancakes onto her plate. Marco just went for the bacon again, not wanting to figure out what the flat circles were for. -
Lucas took a bit of both, not quite sure what the flat things were. But they smelled good, so he'd try them. Brynn eagerly dug into her own breakfast as Olivia took a few pancakes for herself. "Did you two get any sleep last night?" Olivia asked, not meaning to sound suggestive. "I know the bed down there isn't the most comfortable.
