Lucas nodded, not surprised that Marco was a little smaller than him. He eyed the other hybrid's slender hips, but quickly looked away, willing himself not to get distracted again. "Thanks!" he chirped to Kayleigh, before pulling Marco back over to the clothes and starting to look.
-
Marco let Lucas look for a second, before he finally spoke up. "Lucas," he started, "I don't- I can't read, I don't know what a four looks like."
-
Lucas looked surprised for a second, but then his expression softened. "That's okay, don't worry about it. I'll show you, and then you find the pants you like with the same little symbol on the tag." He searched the rack and pulled down a pair of shorts. "Here, look, that little thing there is a four." he explained, pointing.
-
Marco was glad that Lucas didn't seem to think he was stupid, because his suprised look was gone pretty quickly. He looked at the thing that Lucas pointed out to him, staring at it and nodding. "Okay," he said quietly, committing it to memory before starting to look around for the same number.
-
Lucas watched him for a moment, making sure he was okay looking on his own. "If you need help, just ask." he said with a quick smile, before starting to look around for himself. He found a few more pairs of jeans, assorted blues and black.
-
Marco nodded, but he quickly caught on to what the fours looked like on the tags. They were all in the middle, and easy to read now that he knew what they looked liked. He found more joggers, in blacks and greys, and even a black pair of jeans.
-
When Lucas thought he had enough, he wandered back over to Marco, coming up behind him and hugging him. "I'm done," he hummed, kissing one of his velvety auburn ears.
-
Marco was holding his pants in his arms, so he couldn't turn around and hug Lucas back, but he giggled and purred at the kiss to his ear. "Me too," he decided, as he'd gathered what he felt was enough size four's to be his wardrobe. Kayleigh, who had been waiting in watch, seemed to notice they were finished and strolled over. "Ready?" She asked.
-
Lucas laughed softly at the cute little purr and letting go of Marco, but giving him one last kiss. "Yeah, we're ready," he confirmed with a nod.
-
Marco was blushing a little, and thrusted his arms full of pants out towards Kayleigh. She stared at the pile, but, they would need clothes, she gestured for them to follow her, and led the two towards the checkout. She took the pants from Marco and Lucas, and set them down for the cashier to ring up.
-
Lucas hovered by, watching excitedly. "Thanks again," he said to Kayleigh. "I know you didn't expect two of us, but you took us both anyway, I really appreciate it."
-
Kayleigh shrugged, while the checkout lady went to work. "It'll be good in the long run, I hope. You two seem like nice boys to have around." Meanwhile, Marco was slipping little items onto the counter while Kayleigh was distracted- a cute little pink collar, fish-shaped treats, a little bow to clip onto an ear.
-
Lucas smiled at the items, imaging how cute Marco would look with the bow on. "Well it means a lot," he smiled at Kayleigh. "I've never had a home before, it's...really nice."
-
Marco was quick to turn away, slinking back over to Lucas. "Really nice," he repeated, looking at Kayliegh. She smiled, "I'm glad to give you two a home, especially together." She turned around, and paid the cashier, and then she had two big bags in her arms. "Back to the car," she said, holding the leashes of the hybrids and leading the way out again.
-
Lucas smiled happily, linking his arm with Marco's and being sure to keep him close as they pushed back through the crowds.
