Are we going with the flow or going with a plot? :3
I'll just post this for meself nao.
Name: Flynn Brinestar
Age: 16
Other: Taboo lovechild of Lucifer and Phoenix Brinestar, both parents disagree with Flynn's boyfriend of choice. Loves to play volleyball and soccer; The short but competent soccer captain at their school. Often cold, quiet, and blank-faced, a dificult boy to read for emotions...Unless you're Zaire or Mama. -
I dunno~ o3o Whatever you'd prefer.
Name: Zaire Abney
Age: 15/16 (Do we want them the same age or no? I can't decide)
Personality: When he's happy he's somewhat easy-going, relaxed, somewhat of a dork. Any other time, he's quiet, scary, and actually quite sadistic or masochistic not unlike his father.
Other: Lovechild of Damian and Hunter Abney, same issue as Flynn- parents disagree with Zaire's desired boyfriend. Enjoys volleyball and football, loves swimming. Tends to get in trouble for "starting fights (aka defending friends and picking sides). -
Well, we could show their struggles as they thrive to be together. :3
I think I'll use updated-Flynn as well, seeing his parents need a lot to blame Zaire for. Also, we should figure out what Zaire looks like in the offbeat thread. Just so our imaginations have an idea of what's going on. -w- -

Alright. -

Who do you want to start? -
#SoReal
If you mean who do you want to start the RP between you and I, I'd prefer it if you could. -
I will do my best! And if you want Zaire to be a year younger, that's all you.
Flynn blew a piece of hair out of his face only to have it fall back into position again. The pale redhead groaned quietly as his Precalculus teacher droned on about some theorms that they had to learn by the end of the week. He was beyond boredom, and the only person that could cure it was on the other side of the school. Flynn stared out the window, looking right into his childhood friend, and current boyfriend's, classroom. Leaning into his palm, the boy admired the other male like when they were kids. He'd even told his mother that he'd marry Zaire one day and be his bride. In which both his parents flipped their lids, well, mother fainted and father rampaged for 20 minutes. Flynn giggled softly at all the memories of their feuding parents. They would never be able to stop the boys from being together. -
nah we'll have them be the same age o3o
Zaire was staring at his teacher, his eyes clouded over. He was in his thinking mode- which never meant anything good when he was looking at his teachers. He wasn't paying much attention to the teacher, as usual- but why would he? He had good grades for being one who didn't enjoy paying attention. For a moment, his attention turned to the classroom beside his and saw Flynn so many rows away. He smiled for a moment. Only his baby could make him smile at a time like this. Before he could start daydreaming, his view was blocked by a certain irritating teacher. He grumbled as he turned his attention from the teacher's pants up to their face. "Mr. Abney, I'd hate to trouble you. Am I boring you?" The teacher glared down at him as he sat in his seat. "..If I say no, will I get a sticker?" Zaire asked. "No, but you can get extra homework." -
Flynn blushed when he was noticed and grinned at his boyfriend. If it were possible, he'd push open the window and jump across to his darling's arms. But even with his strong soccer captain legs, the boy had no chance of making it across. Not to mention they were on the second floor. He'd rather not break anything today either. But his grin dropped to a heavy frown when Zaire's teacher blocked them from seeing each other. His bright green eyes narrowed, and he grit his teeth in annoyance. How he hated that woman, always getting in the way when they were just sharing a glance. "Zaire-bear is a perfect student...Leave him alone, you cow.." He grumbled softly to himself, perking up when he heard throat clearing from the front of the room. A murmured apology escaped him as he looked forward and slumped in his seat.
-
"Actually, Mr. Abney.." The teacher smiled at him, gesturing to the front of the class. "You can teach the rest of the lesson. Let's see just how much you knew what was going on." Laughter broke out in the class. Zaire stood up, shoving past her to the front. His eyes were full of anger. "Mhm.. Next thing you know you'll be telling me to wipe your ass for you because you can't do it alone," he hissed to himself. When he got to the front, he glanced at what was written on the board. He then looked at the book that was lying open on the desk. He shoved the book off, sitting in her chair. Ignoring her furious glance, he put his feet up on the desk, putting his hands in his lap. "As she was saying, there are several chemicals you'll be needing to write down. I'm assuming she covered at least the first five, so you don't need those. Anyways.." Zaire continued speaking, waving his hand to make an emphasis on the important stuff.
-
His toxic eyes shifted back towards the window while his teacher's back was turned, a wide grin coming across his face as he just witnessed his lover shove a book off the seacow's desk and sat in her seat. Flynn had to control himself so he didn't burst out laughing while he watched Zaire teach his class. He would be a great teacher if he were to follow that path. "I don't know what's so fascinating out there that it keeps pulling your focus, but how about you show your classmates how to do the problem I've written on the board, boy?"
The boy blew another strand of pink-red out of his face as he stood, all eyes on him, and walked to the front of the room. He picked up a marker and stuck his tongue out. "Do I have to do because you don't know how to again? At least you have red this time, you were really starting to slack on marker colors."
"Stop smartmouthing and solve the problem before I send you to the office, boy." The math teacher scowled.
"How about you stop degrading me by calling me 'boy' all the time?" Flynn glared right back then turned towards the white board to go through the steps of the equation carefully, always checking his math to make sure it was right. -
By the time the class was over, Zaire was feeling very accomplished with himself. He had taught the lesson without any flaws, making everything perfect and easy to understand. The class looked happy for once as they left the room. He bent down to collect the book he had shoved away earlier. When he rose, he was face to face with the teacher. He took a step back, setting the book down. "Uh, hi there?" She stuck her face closer to him, causing him to shrink back in disgust. "What do you want?"
"Mr. Abney. I'd like to inform you that the next time I see you looking out that cursed window, I will send you up to the office." She set her hand on the table, glaring at him. Zaire snorted at her, walking to his desk to retrieve his back pack.
"When I get there, I'll tell them that I got bored listening to an old woman like you teaching the lesson wrong. I'm sure I'll get paid for having taught this class, actually. I deserve it. The other kids looked quite pleased with my way of teaching, grandma. For the record, you need stickers." Without giving the teacher a chance to yell at him, he left the room, rolling his eyes dramatically. He knew that he'd get called up for that, but who did she think she was? -
The bell sounded moments after Flynn returned to his seat, having finished explaining to the class how to solve the 'complex' equation on the board. He took their questions, answering them so the others could understand. It was simple, to the point where most of the slackers and jocks had even listened. He understood having good grades allowed those meatheads to continue playing through the season, the pink-haired boy played soccer himself and hated missing a game because of something so simple. But how can someone pass if their teacher didn't answer questions or demonstrate how the equation was solved?
"..Brinestar, have you ever considered switching to a more advanced math course?" His teacher, having been put in his place, asked rather eagerly. His change of opinion on the younger causing the boy to scoff a bit.
"I'm already in advanced math. I don't feel like driving over to a collage every day to take an hour long class. Too much of a hassle and it would take time out of my other classes." As if he really cared for any of them. "Besides, I like being here.." Flynn peaked out the window once again and smiled, grabbing his things to head for the door. "Where someone is always waiting for me." Without another word, he bound out of the room, going to reunite with his lover for their next class together. -
Zaire figured that he had earned himself some sort of punishment; When he would actually get it, he wasn't sure. Though he didn't care. His next class would bring use. Not because of what was being taught, of course, but because of who would be in that class. He grinned to himself, his eyes scanning the crowd for a certain pink haired boy. He couldn't see his darling Flynn through the crowd of idiots, but that was okay. He'd see him in the class. He turned his attention to looking ahead, shoving past the mass and heading towards the class. He didn't like all of these humans. He didn't like anyone that was a stranger to him. His expression went hard as he thought about all of the teachers. They weren't exactly nice, either. He wondered what it would take to get rid of them.
As the crowd started to dim, he relaxed and glanced at a clock he passed by every time. He had three minutes left to get to class, or maybe two. Either way, he figured he didn't have to run. He sighed, snorting and clutching the strap of his bag tightly. He still couldn't see his beloved. Hopefully, Flynn would notice Zaire, or he'd show up suddenly. They didn't always see each other while walking, though. Usually because of those idiot teachers. Again, he felt anger bubble up. He was so full of hate towards the adults here. He couldn't wait for it to be over. -
Flynn hurried to get down the staircase, playful pushing through a group of girls that stood in a mass. They giggled, calling him a little jerk as he grinned at them teasingly. The smaller got along with most people. Zaire on the other hand had a select few people that he called friends, and Flynn was always number one.
He smiled as the classroom came into eyesight, having a few minutes left to give his lover attention before it started. He didn't see his love in the halls very much because of the massive amount of people, his height, or simply their classes were on the other side of the school from each other. But when they did see each other, it was the happiest moments of their lives. But also the scariest. Flynn clutched his chest a bit, feeling his heart rate become irregular. Since he and Zaire were such special cases, they had their fair share of problems. "Don't do this now...Not now.." He mumbled to himself as he walked into the classroom, looking around for his boyfriend eagerly.
