Antonio nodded slowly, thinking this over. "I think I'll get the same, I don't know what any of this is," he smiled slightly, shaking his head and closing the menu.
-
Lovino nodded, and when the waited came by a few moments later, he ordered for the both of them. "So," He glanced around, attempting to make conversation. "You know, for as long as I've been with the circus, I've never been to this part of Germany."
-
Since the waiter had taken their menus, Antonio had nothing to occupy his hands with so he clasped them and set them together on the tabletop. "Really? Neither have I, but you have been with it longer than me."
-
(ha this one has the same name as the other one)
-
(woah yeah I loved this one I'm happy we're restarting it ^w^)
Lovino shrugged, fingers drumming aimlessly on the tabletop. "It's not like I had much of a choice," he mumbled, looking away. "I'm kinda stuck here." he sighed quietly. But at least he'd gotten to meet Antonio with the circus. -
(Me tooo~~)
"It is a good place to be stuck, though," Antonio said, trying to make the situation seem better. "You get to travel all of the time, and see all of these new places." -
Lovino kicked at the floor, glaring at the table. "I wish I had more of a choice, though. I don't want to be here, I-I want to be with my parents." he looked down, cheeks burning shamefully. He hadn't meant to admit that.
-
Antonio looked down at the table as well, chewing his lip. He himself knew the circus as his only family, so he didn't understand how much Lovino missed his, but he still felt sad that Lovino apparently didn't like being at the circus. "Do you want to leave, Lovino? The circus, I mean, I'm sure someone else could always be in charge, if you wanted to find your family."
-
"I..." Lovino shrugged helplessly, looking conflicted. "I-I don't know. I don't like it here, but I don't want to leave you. I want to find my family too, but what's the point if they didn't even want me in the first place?" Lovino felt a bit trapped, falling silent for a minute before the food arrived. He muttered a small thanks to the waiter, but didn't look up, for fear that Antonio might see the frustrated tears in his eyes.

Antonio knew that the head acrobat would probably be more than happy to take over in Lovino's absence, but he worried about what he would do. Of course, if his precious Lovino wanted to leave, Antonio would go with him, but he worried about his elephants. He stared at his food, picking up his fork to poke at it. "I'd go with you Lovi, I would. Whether you want to find your family or not. We could go anywhere."
-
"But..." Lovino growled in frustration and wiped harshly at his eyed, fed up with himself for being so stupidly emotional. "I wouldn't even know where to find them. And you like it here." He glanced down. "I-I'd rather stay with you and your damn elephants."
-
Antonio's lip pouted out, feeling bad for the Italian. He reached over and swipped a thumb under his eye, to dry a tear. "That's okay, too, you can stay with me and my elephants. Whatever you think is best."
-
Lovino pursed his lips, looking up wide-eyed when Antonio caught his tear. It struck him then just how genuine the Spaniard was being. He honestly would follow him wherever he went. That realization made Lovino's eyes well up again, and he blinked rapidly to keep his tears back. "...I don't know what to do." He admitted. "I want to find my family, but is there really a point if they didn't want me? I think it would be easiest for everyone if I just stayed put." he finished quietly. Even though he hated having to run the circus, it meant Antonio, and Antonio liked it. So he would stay.
