"Mm, lunch sounds good," he agreed, watching distantly as Lovino sat up. He was focusing on his hip, where his thumb had left a little oval-shaped bruise from holding him too tight. "Oh, sorry.." He hummed, pouting and touching the spot.
-
Lovino started, not expecting Antonio's finger's to ghost over his hip so suddenly. He glanced down and eyes the bruise. "Huh." He made a little noise of surprise, he hadn't even noticed the mark until now. "It's fine." He smirked slightly and trailed a finger lightly over the scattered purple marks along the Spaniard's collarbone. "Besides, we're even."
-
Antonio followed Lovino's touch with his eyes, glancing down past his chin at the array of marks Lovi had left him. "We're going to be a mess of winter clothes, aren't we?"
-
Lovino nodded again and frowned slightly. "Too bad it's been so hot out lately..." He muttered. The Italian was not looking forward to having to wear a jacket in the scorching sunlight.
-
"Mhm... We could have maybe picked a better season." After a moment, he shrugged, deciding to sit up along with Lovino. "You could just wear a fancy scarf."
-
Lovino was about to shoot down the idea when he paused, realizing it was actually a good one. "Huh. Maybe I will." He jabbed a finger lightly into Antonio's chest. "No more walking around shirtless for a while though."
-
Antonio grinned, shaking his head slightly. "I have elephants. Elephants, Lovi. Everyone thinks they're big dangerous creatures, I could always just say one of them knocked me around a bit."
-
Lovino blushed once again at the nickname and huffed, crossing his arms. "At least you've got an excuse." Lovino wished he could say the same, that perhaps he'd been checking on Antonio's act and the elephant had knocked him down, but he knew he couldn't. Telling people he was hanging around with Antonio would only further their suspicions.
-
"Lucky me," he smiled devilishly, trying to poke a little fun at him. "I think I can preform tomorrow, by the way.. I'll just take Maira out with me."
-
Lovino nodded. "Okay. That's good. I was worried I'd have to let that monster of a dancer extend her act." He glanced him and borrowed his eyes slightly. "If your arm still hurts then don't perform, though."
-
Antonio wrinkled his nose at the mention of the she-beast. "Let's not let that happen." Then, he looked down at his arm. Though the bruise wasn't faded much, he could truthfully say, "It doesn't hurt so much. And Maira will be gentle."
-
*narrowed not borrowed
my god I'm surprised you understand my posts with all my typos XD
Lovino nodded. He was still a little worried about Antonio- not that he'd ever voice his concerns, but he still worried. However, he knew the Spaniard was right, Maira did seem to be the gentler of the two elephants, and Lovino doubted she would hurt Antonio. "Okay. As long as you're fine." He glanced down, embarrassed. "I-I mean 'cause I can't have the most popular act unable to perform." Not because I care or anything. He told himself, but the Italian knew it was a lie. -
I actually caught onto that so fast I was like
Borrowed eyes what oh narrowed yah thats probably what she meant
Antonio watched him for a moment, fonding over his cute shyness to express caring, but hinting faintly to it anyway. "I'll be careful, don't worry." -
oh then good job~
Lovino nodded, blushing a shade darker. "Who said I was worrying?" He asked indignantly, although he knew he hadn't hidden it very well. He glanced up at the slight swaying of the wagon stopped. "We must be stopping now," He said. "We could go get lunch now, if you want to.." -
"Your tomato cheeks say so," he said, referring to the blushing that was absolutely giving away his position. When the wagon stopped, and Lovino suggested lunch again, the Spaniard nodded. "Sure. You should stop by your cabin really quick and get that scarf, though. Meet me back here and we'll go?"
