You take a deep breath a force a (somewhat shaky) laugh, reaching for a dish towel sitting by the sink and carefully wiping the crimson substance from your fingers. "Okay, that was weird." You muttered, giving the others a small smile. However, the smile vanished in an instant as a sharp crash sounded from above you, followed by a cry of what you assumed was pain. Mina gasped and looked up at the ceiling, as if it might indicate what had happened. Jonas bit his lip and anxiously shuffled closer to you.
MAKE A CHOICE:
- Go upstairs and see what happened.
- Call up to the others and see if they respond.
- Explore further into the house. -

"Come on!" You urged, a new sense of worry mixed with determination filling you as a second crash sounded. The three of you rushed up the stairs, where another room was lit up up. You pushed open the door and stiffened up, your mouth falling open in stunned horror. Broken pieces of white china littered the floor. Ace's unconscious form was slumped against one wall, and Lucky was pressed against the other, blood dripping from a long scratch across her cheek. Her eyes were wide and she was shaking, staring straight through you.

- Ask Lucky what happened.
- Check on Ace. -

"Lucky, what happened?" You ask, stepping cautiously around the pointed shards on the ground. She was still trembling, and when you spoke to her she quickly shook her head, squeezing her eyes shut. "I...I don't know." She muttered. "There was this...this..." She shook her head again. "I don't even know. But Ace..." She whispered, finally looking up at the boy's limp form, absently wiping blood from her cheek.
MAKE A CHOICE:

-Check the hall for the thing -
