Robin gripped the ceil of the window harder until splinters stabbed into her hands. She turned around quickly, tears spilling from her eyes and rage filling them, with an overwhelming hint of sadness. She stormed over to him. "You b------! You had to go to your father didn't you! Now there dead because of you!" She slapped him across the face.

He gave her a surprised look, grabbing her wrists before she could do anything. "Woah, Robin, calm down. What happened? Who's dead?" He asked, giving her a worried frown.

She struggled with him trying to get her arms free. "They both are dead..." she cried, leaning against him. "They both are dead because of you." She pulled her wrist away from him and glared through her tear soaked eyes. "My men are dead because of you."

He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into his chest, holding her tightly. "Robin, I didn't say a word about your men. I don't know how my father found them, but...I'm sorry." He ran a hand gently through her hair.

She tried to pull away, but soon gave up and buried her head into his chest, crying and gripping onto his shirt. She was upset and angry, but more and more she just felt upset. It wasn't his fault, it was his stupid father's fault.

He sat down on the bed and pulled her into his lap. He sat there for a while, just holding her and letting her cry. He had lost friends as well, so he understood how it felt. He mumbled soothing things into her ear and hugged her tightly.

She soon after an hour stopped crying and was reduced to hiccupping and burying her face into his chest lightly. She pulled away a bit. "I'm sorry..." she mumbled lightly, her eyes red and puffy.

He shook his head. "Don't apologize, you have a right to be upset. I'll do what I can to keep the soldiers out of the forest and away from the rest of your friends." He promised with a slight nod.

She sighed lightly and leaned against him. She still was upset, but his promise filled her with a bit of hope. "I don't think your father will listen..." she mumbled a bit.

"I'll make him listen." He answered firmly, looking down at her. For a moment he had the urge to kiss her, but she was upset and weak right now. He couldn't take advantage of her like that...

She blushed deeply and bit her lip a bit. He was looking at her and for some odd reason she felt nervous about him now. She glanced away from him for a moment. "Your father...isn't the best listener..."

"I'll fight him if I have to. He shouldn't be ruling this kingdom." Kai growled. He hated his father for the taxes, but the fact that he'd hurt Robin's men- which had also hurt her- made him furious.

She laughed lightly and shook her head. "Now do you understand what I was trying to do..." she mumbled and nuzzled his neck absent mindedly. "And fighting him would cause you to get hurt..."

"I don't care if I'm hurt." He said, absentmindedly wrapping an arm around her. "He hurt you, and I need to do something about it."

She blushed lightly and felt his arms wrap around her slowly and she looked up at him, scared to really say anything else. "I don't...understand why you care that I'm upset..."
