Kai sighed, blushing slightly. When she looked up at him like that, looking so innocent...he couldn't help it. He leaned down, gently kissing her.

She gasped lightly as her eyes widened as she felt his lips connect with hers. She blushed deeply and slowly started to kiss him back, her eyes closing slightly as her arms snaked up a bit and wrapped around his neck lightly.

He deepened the kiss, but quickly pulled back, worried he might've upset her, although she had kissed him back. He gave her a curious glance, waiting to see how she'd react.

She blushed crimson and glanced away from him. She did something wrong...wait why was she worrying about this? She looked back at him and bit her bottom lip lightly.

"Ah, sorry..." He apologized with a slightly awkward grin. "That was just impulse I guess, I'm sorry..."

She placed her hands on his cheeks and tilted his head a bit. "You don't...have to be sorry." She smiled a bit. "It was...nice." she blushed deeply, not understand what she was saying.

He nodded, blushing slightly. "A-Anyway, here." He held out one of the apples, eager to change the subject. He didn't want to make things awkward by having the conversation lingering on the kiss.

She glanced down at the apple, understanding he wanted to change the subject. She sighed lightly and took it, not even bothering to take I bite out of it.

"Robin...I'm not just protecting you because I wanted answered. I'm protecting you..." He trailed off, embarrased. "I want to keep you safe, okay?"

"So keeping your distance from me will keep me safe, I get it." She frowned, moving the apple around in her hand and glanced up at him.

"That's not what I meant." He leaned forward, kissing her deeply and then pulling back. "I don't want to have any distance between us."

She dropped the apple and blushed deeply. "T-then stop g-giving me these stupid m-mixed messages will you?" She laughed lightly and smiled a bit.

He grinned and laughed with her. "Sorry, I just wasn't sure if you'd be okay with this. I thought you might attack me again."

She rolled her eyes and looked at her hands. "I think were past the point in which I'd hurt you." She mumbled and leaned against him. "You know...I'm going to miss those two...they were Ayama's brothers..."
