Moonstar sighed, her heart beating fast. The end was near..those words rung in her head. Her end was near, she knew. She had fought many battles bravely, with courage and blood. She had faced challenges, she had laughed in the face of death. Moonstar's life was a legacy, and many admired that. Her mate was asleep next to her, and she exited her den to see the Medicine Cat, creeping out quietly. Her figure was skinny, and beginning to show signs of old age. She hadn't been as fortunate as her mother, who had died beautiful and youthful looking. Moonstar, however, still looked wise, and relatively graceful.
