Syriel facepalmed. "Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Syriel." He said. "And I know your name, but..." he trailed off again, just as awkwardly. -

Tony simply shrugged. He was just as clueless as Syriel. He knew his name, but that was about it. He gave a helpless little sigh before picking up the pen a third time. Will I ever talk again? He already knew the answer. No. But he couldn't help asking... -
Yerp. OMZ PENNY CUT OFF HER HAIR D:)
Syriel shrugged. "I dunno. It's possible." -

Tony blinked and stared at him in surprise. He had expected another definite no. But according to this man...it was possible. He smiled at him, feeling more encouraged. He decided to ask another question. You know any places I could make some money? I don't wanna be on the streets too long after they kick me outta here... -

Syriel blinked. "You... don't have a place to stay?" He frowned. "You could come to my place." -

Tony glanced up at him, nearly dropping the pen in surprise. For a few moments he just looked at him, before quickly writing a reply. Do you mean it? I wouldn't want to be a burden, I mean I doubt you want to deal with an injured, amnesiac, mute... He was frowning slightly, looking down as he pushed the notepad at the doctor. -
Yeah. :3)
Syriel grinned. "Of course I mean it. I live alone, and it's pretty lonely. It'd be nice to have someone around for once." -
Tony sighed and jotted down another note. I don't think I'm very good company. His frown faded to a more hopeful expression as he looked up at Syriel's kind blue eyes. Thank you so much, though. How can I repay you?

Syriel laughed. "None neccesary. Plus, I'm sure you'll be great company." He smiled.

Tony smiled softly. He opened his mouth, then promptly closed it again, remembering he couldn't say anything. He blushed slightly, realizing the stupid mistake he'd just made.

Syriel smiled sympathetically. "That'll be hard to get used to, huh..."

Tony nodded, looking down again. He'd learned that he could so far only make a few noises: sighs, and the occasional sneeze. It was incredibly depressing.

Syriel softened. "Hey, it'll work out." He said. "Don't worry about it- you'll get your voice back someday."

Tony shook his head. Most of the other doctors doubted it. And even if his voice could come back, his father couldn't...Even though he didn't remember him, he still hated to think of seeing the man bent and broken on a stretcher...

Syriel nodded stubbornly. "You will. I'll find a way." He stated. "I know there are ways. I've seen it done before."
