"Like what?" She sobbed. Shadow felt terrible. It was like a part of her had been stolen, and then ripped to shreads in front of her eyes. No matter how terribly ironic that was.

"Well, good luck bewitching death again." This time, Shadow's voice was cruel with anger. She found herself laying on the floor, twitching. Dwelling on this thought would break her, and her body was already shaking, no matter how much she tightened it.

Mephiles layed on the floor holding Shadow to comfort her.

Shadow was in the fetus position, with her arms snuggled up near her head, and her knees folded to her stomach. She whined quietly.
