Mephiles continued to talk to Shadow in the hallway.

Shadow made a series of smiles as they talked, fidgeting her hands to keep them warm.

Mephiles said "Come on. Why don't we go to the Mystic Creatures room?"

Shadow weakly smiled, trying to reassure Mephiles in any way possible. However, her mind rebelled against her, naturally wanting to be nervous and pessimistic about the situation. "But.."

Mephiles grabbed her hand and said "I promise, NO ONE will hurt you."

This time Shadow's smile, although weak, was genuine. Her face began to tint of a strawberry tone, which she didn't agree to, but it happened anyways.

Mephiles said "Come on, let's go." They grabbed their friends and went into the Mystic Creatures room. It was a sunny oasis. There were several different creatures there.

Shadow immediately felt nervous and backed up, beginning to frown. Her pessimistic attitude came back.
