Luke stared at him for a moment, "I think spiders are really, really cool, actually. I once had a pet tarantula, but...after certain...mosfortunes, I had to get rid of him, sadly. He was really cool."
-
"Yeah... Cool; But deadly... Sorry to hear about your pet tarantula." Jake replied.
"Yeah, you should see the spiders in the mountains. Talk about HUGE." Jack added in.
"Haha, yeah." Jake replied. -
Luke took a seat, cuddling into the fabric. "So, why did class end so early?" he questioned, not wishing to talk about spiders anymore.
-
"I don't know. Something about an emergency." Jack said sitting on the floor.
"Maybe one of Mrs. Cook's family members... died." Jake replied.
"Or had an accident..."Jack said in response. -
"That's sad..." He felt quite horrible for Mrs. Cook, even if she wasn't the best music teacher. He hung his head sadly. He hated the thought of death.
-
"Yes, it is very sad." Jack sighed thinking about Mrs. Cook.
Jake stood silent for a moment then said "Maybe we could you know... Pray for Mrs. Cook?" -
Luke made a face. He was an agnostic atheist. Praying was just something that he did not do. "I mean.." He would feel like an a--hole if he didn't do it, but would feel weird if he did.
-
"Why pray if we don't know what exactly happened?" Jack replied,he did not like to pray either.
"True." Jake sighed. -

Luke nodded in complete agreement. He jumped in fear when the bell rang out, singaling the students to collect their items. Mr. Workheiser dismissed the class, grinning a small bit. Keith pushed past everyone to be the first out, Luke shuddering when he caught sight of the boy.

Jack watched Keith walked out of the Art room.
"You should teach that guy a lesson." Jake said watching Keith as well.
"Hm, i think Keith would be too stupid to even pay attention to the lesson." Jack joked. -
Luke slung his pack over his shoulders, laughing at the crack at Keith. He thought it was truly amusing, but then he recalled how touchy-feely Keith had been, and choked on his laughter. He looked to his shoelaces.
-
"Whats wrong Luke?" Jack asked, looking over at him.
