In New York City, certain laws prohibit the rich and poor from falling in love, or even maintaining friendships, wich is punishable by life scentances.
C1 is a rich kid, with anything they could possibly need. C2 lives on the streets, and dreams of being rich. When they both happen to walk down the same street, their paths cross unexpectedly as one is hit by a car, and the other saves their life. Then, as the person heals, the two fall in love, but cannot tell anyone, for it's forbidden. -
