"No, no, you are very much alive.." Jordan told her, watching as he laid her into the ambulance bed. The EMTs pushed him away, working on the injured girl. He didn't know whether or not he should stay. He feared he would breaking a law.
-
I'll just do her doctors.)
The ambulance driver turned to look at the boy. "You'll need to come fill out some paperwork at the hospital." He looked the boy up and down. "Including why a richie like you was in the ad part of town." Elise trembled when CPR was applied. -
I can't afford to lose this.)
-
Sorry, I'm not always on when you reply.
"Well, whatever." His entire demeanor seemed to change as he asked, "Am I allowed to take the drive to the hospital?" He gave a slight tilt of the head, pulling off his soft hoodie and folding it neatly. He was truly worried about the girl's condition, and he had the strongest desire to follow her there. -
The paramedic shrugged. "Why not?" The ambulance drove towards the center of the city, where the rich and poor commonly interacted. The ambulance pulled into the emergency wing, and doctors rushed Elise into a room.
-
Jordan would have followed them into the room, but he was stopped by a doctor, who had a nurse direct the male to the hospital's cozy waiting room. He strongly disagreed, but who didn't? He was made to take a seat before being left totally alone. He sighed, taking a glance to the television channel that was playing. Some idiotic reality show was flashing by.
-
After about an hour, a doctor came out. "Look, it's not really good to have someone rich involved in this, but until she comes to I'll have you do some paperwork. You can see her now." The doctor held an I-don't-care-if-the-prince-of-poo-poo-land-backed-over-this-girl-with-a-dumptruck look on his face.
-
Lost wifi, sorry.
"Give me the paperwork, asshat." He was allowed to be a dick, mainly because his father was the mayor. He could talk to whoever he wanted however he wanted. He didn't flaunt the ability, however. He only used it in times that he should. -
The doctor handed over the paperwork, quickly leaving the boy alone in the girl's room.
-
Jordan, exasperated, scanned over the numerous pieces of paper. Grabbing the pen connected to the clipboard, he took a seat, starting to fill it out. In the midst of doing so, he developed a migraine, something that he had been suffering from for a couple of years, then. He sighed, rubbing his throbbing temples tenderly and leaning back to complete the work.
-
After a bit longer, a nurse came in. "I feel bad for this girl," She mumbled, running a finger down Elise's face. "So young, so pretty, yet she has terrible injuries and nobody here for her..."
-
Jordan raised an eyebrow, taking a good look at the nurse. "Because I'm not sitting right here, yeah?" He gnawed the corner of his lip, slightly glaring. This whole situation was truly exasperating, in his opinion. He only wanted to be alone when he was having on of his splitting headaches, so the nurse was not helping him nor the girl in any way.
-
The nurse flashed him a We-don't-count-rich-people-when-it's-a-poor-patient look. "I'm sorry sir. But due to the currant laws you do not count as friend or family." And with that, the nurse stomped right out, most likely to badmouth Jordan.
-
He mocked her in a very high-pitched voice, standing once he was finished with the tedious paperwork. He stood, feeling a bit dizzy, and going off to fet chu h the doctor from earlier. Little dark smudges clouded his vision, but he didn't pay them any mind. He had one job to do at that moment, and he was going to do it. He couldn't recall if he was told the man's name or not.
-
Dr. Pollen found the boy wobbling towards his office. "Young man!" He called. "I'll take that, and you take this!" He said, taking the paperwork and shoving him a cup of water. "What? No name, no age, no address?" His veigns began to throb. "Go sit in her room!"
