Rayna looks up into Hunters eyes. "I'm begining to wish th-that I never came in the games with you... And th-that you'd win... and when you came back... we'd have each other..." Rayna looks away blushing a lot.

Hunter grew sad but strangely overjoyed. "Rayna, that is the sweetest thing anybody has ever said to me. I promise you, we will stay alive. You will see."

Rayna smiled a little as a tear streams down her face. "Okay," she says softly.

"Hey, stop that." Hunter gently wiped the tears from her face.

"I-I'm sorry," Rayna says, looking down. "I'm sorry."

"Don't be sorry." He went for it, and gently kissed her head.

Rayna held onto him tightly, trying to control her crying, slowly calming down trying to match her breathing with his. "Okay..." she says softly.

Hunter pet her hair, trying to calm her some more.

"Thank you," Rayna whispered, pulling away from him a little and looking up at him. "Thank you," she repeats.

"You are incredibly welcome." He nodded a bunch.

"Well, uh, I'm off- I'm off to bed then," Rayna says stuttering to much.

"Alright, Rayna." Before he left, he popped a kiss onto her nose. He left, shutting the door gently.

Rayna was stunned about everything that had just happened, and she was still stunned as she crawled back into bed

Hunter went back out into the living room, his mind smiling but his face cold like he wanted it to be. He took a seat on the floor by Haymitch's feet.

Rayna fell asleep much easier than she had before and she dreamed about everything that just had happened, which was the best night sleep she had gotten in a while.
