sorry I had to eat
Carl smirked a little but quickly wiped that off his face when the nurse turned to them. She put a look on her face as if she was deciding if she should let them wonder or not. She wasn't too sure about Carl, who was suicidal by just a bit, but she thought that she could trust Jordan to let her know if anything went wrong. "Oh... Alright... But don't be in any place you know you're not suppose to be," she says firmly. -

"Okay." He gave a sweet, small nod that was very convincing. He was totally going to go where he shouldn't, but he would needed a bit of help from his new adventure partner. He waved the nurse, hoping that she would leave with that signal. -
The Nurse sighed again as she turned to walk the other way, leaving the two boys to explore the hospital by themselves. "Please tell me we're breaking some rules here," Carl whispered, leaning close to Jordan.

Without warning, Jordan asked, "Yeah, but can I have a piggy-back ride because I am short and you can helo me see more of the journey." He clapped, hitting the person gently with his frog. If he wouldn't be allowed, he was fine with that. It didn't try to ask, however.

"Ye-" Carl started, just absentmindedly saying yes but he quickly cut himself off. He had gotten out of the hospital not too long ago, just a few weeks, and he didn't think that he should be carrying a young boy. Carl grimaced and squeezed his eyes shut. "Uh... I don't know if I should..." Carl then cleared his throat. "I mean, like, my back is sore and all," he says quickly so Jordan doesn't have any questions.

"Oh, that's okay. If you don't wanna go, you don't have to, then. How bad does it hurt? What did ya do to it?" He searched the boy's eyes for an emotion of some sorts, feeling quite bad, then. He hadn't known, and if Carl was in pain, Jordan didn't fel he should be doing anything.

Carl just shrugged a bit, looking down at his shoes. "It only hurts when I put pressure on it I guess," he states, then he looks back up to Jordan. "But let's not worry about that, you're the one who wanted the adventure after all."

"Okay," he cooed in a sing-songy voice, "Onward, my fellow explorer." He started down the hall, taling glances at each door as he passed each one. He seemed quite cheerful at that moment, but that was only until something triggered his depressed side. No one exactly knew what caused it, but did know that at least something did.

Carl smiled and held back a small laugh as he followed Jordan, walking by his side. "Where do you wanna head to first?" Carl questioned quietly while looking around the halls for signs that would direct them where they're supposed to go.

Jordan moved closer to him so that he could whisper, "The basement, obviously. They probably keep the keys somewhere close." He returned to where he had previously been, putting his frog onto his shoulder. He hummed as he continued on. -

"Hmm..." Carl hummed while looking around the halls. He sniffed a little which echoed around the halls and he smirked a little. "Security room maybe?" Carl finally suggested. -

"Fat chance. I saw something in a movie once, and I wanna try it out, dude." He emphasized the last word said, and then went on to announce, "You know we have to wear what they give us, soon? I read it in the pamphlet. It's bland tee shirts, long shorts, sweatpants, slippers, and shorts. You get two or three of each. Depressing, right?" He sighed. -
OMG so tired from school like blaaaahhhhh. XD haha what about you?
Carl groaned, then smirked. "Or we can turn girly and just ti-dye our shirts," he joked. He quickly then cleared his throat. "What did you see in this movie now?" he questioned, wondering if it was going to be something badass or not. -
the same dude and i gotta s---load of assignments and it's only second DAY

"Ick. Tie dye is so seventies, dude. Get a grip." He cracked a grin. "I'm gonna call you Dude from now on. Anyways, the keys were hidden in the vent above the door, so I wanna see if I can find them there." He shrugged, "Stupid, yeah, but it seems fun, you know?" -
*hugs back* First day I had s--- load of assignments too.
today I said "f--- it" and left it in my locker. XD
Carl stopped and faced him, a fake, but believable, serious look on his face. "Wait, wait, wait," he says. "you want me, to climb up in a vent with you and steal keys?" Of course Carl didn't mean this seriousness, he actually found the Idea fun, he just wanted to see Jordan's reaction.
