Jordan was quite upset over the reaction he was given, and he stomach dropped. In a small, mousy voice, he answered, "I wanna go see what they have but I want someone so I asked a nurse to unlock your door." He embraced his frog, staring innocently at the other. -

Epic? Epic how?
Carl felt a knot form in his stomach. What was this? Sympathy? He hadn't felt that in a while, it was only anger and depression. "Sorry," Carl said softly, really hoping that Jordan didn't hear him say this. He didn't want to seem soft. "Just... I hate these drugs." Carl laughed uneasy. -
SOMETHING SPONTANEOUS AND CREATIVE AND ORIGINAL.
His nose twitched, and he hid any tears that might have been threatening to spill over. "Mhmm...It's fine. You don't have to go..I'm sorry for being a bother.." He turned on his heel, heading out of the door with a few steps. Of course the guy wouldn't want to do anything with him. They had just met, and he probably didn't even like Jordan. -
Ugh I must think about that...
"Wait," Carl says quickly, sitting up to feel a rush of nasua run though him. "Wait," he says again. He cleared his throat, feeling a little weird. He hasn't acted like this in a long, long time. "H-Help me up please?" -
Okay I will too.
Jordan sighed, running over to him. He put out his small hand, prepared to help him. "This better mean that you're going adventure exploring," he stated, trying to hide a smile that was trying to crawl onto his face. He thought that his actions would help Carl in positive ways. -
how did you get your BF?
And like... how do you talk without making a fool of yourself.
Carl smiled a little as he took his hand, which was warmer than his. "Of course," Carl answers, still smiling. Carl then tried to pull his own weight up off of the bed. -
we played an intense game of scrabble and i said i liked him and yeah
But I kind of had to "spell it out". ;D Ba-dum-tiss.
Jordan pulled back in order to help him do so. He would have tried to pick him up if it meant he had an adventure partner. Even if the hospital wasn't all that dangerous, he thought that that would still be fun to do. They could use their imaginations. -

"Thanks," Carl said, actually smiling a real smile. He felt some odd movement move in his stomach when Jordan helped him, and he wasn't even sure why he felt it. He cleared his throat and wiped the smile off of his face and he looked away from Jordan, feeling embarrassed for some reason. "What do you wanna see first?" he asks. -
imma stay on for a little
"You are welcome! Anywhere, really. Except the," he leaned in, "Scarrrry places." He gasped, grabbing Carl's arm to force him out of the room. "Come on," he mused, finally ecstatic that someone was okay with him. He had been deprived of friends for way too long, so this was nice. -

Carl hid his smirk as Jordan pulled him out of the room. He quickly let it fade as the nurse told them to follow her. "I'm guessing you boys would like to find the TV room?" the nurse guessed with a smile. Carl shrugged, looking to Jordan. -
or a lot because finishing homework ftw

"Silly nurse," he laughed. "It's not an adventure if you lead us places! We have to discover them!" He snicked, whispering to Carl, "She is unsure of the exploring system." His frog stayed by his side, as always. -
