"You can't go with the Careers..?"

"At the cornucopia, it has to be later... they're wanting me to ditch Hunter," Rayna says, more tears streaming down her face.

"Oh, so like when he's sleeping, you go with them?" He held out his arms for a hug.

Rayna took his offer and nodded. "Something like that but... I'm afraid that what I'm giving up for him will also make me lose him."

"Or you could kill the Careers in their sleep and go back to Hunter, and whoever is on his side."

Rayna held onto him tighter. "How? What if they wake up while I"m trying to kill them?"

"They won't. Careers sleep like babies. Trust me, it's what I did to kill them."

Rayna nodded and looked over Haymitches shoulder out the window, "okay," she whispers. -
"Alright, now I need to go see if the medics brought stuff for Hunter yet."
Hunter was awake, staring at the television with an infuriated expression. -
Rayna nods as Haymitch leaves and she climbs in bed, though she knows that she won't be able to sleep anytime soon.

Haymitch stood, leaving. "Effie, did they bring the stuff?"

Effie nodded

"Give me one shot, one painkiller, and one sedative, please." He smiled.
Hunter wasn't paying attention, just watched as a picture of him being helped out by the medics flashed by on the screen. Caesar explained, "I hope this kid is alright, or else, we won't have the District 12 sweethearts!" -
Effie nodded as she handed him all the things.
Rayna moved her hand across the bed sheets, trying to imagine that Hunter was there besides her. -
Haymitch thanked her. He went over to Hunter, making him sit up. Hunter let out a yelp. The older man moved the love seat over, rested Hunter's leg on that. He undid the wrap that the medics had done, putting the bandages to the side to do what he needed to do.
