Saphirre nodded and slowly helped Zoey to her feet, carefully helping her sit down on the couch. Saphirre sat down beside her and cradled her hurt arm against her chest. "I'm sorry I couldn't catch you..." She said in a small voice. She was tempted to take off the jacket, but wasn't sure how she would react.

Zoey shook her head lightly. "It's alright. I was being stupid." Ron jummped onto her lap and nuzzled her hand. She winced lightly and gritted her teeth together. "I-Its my works fault for doing this to me.."

Saphirre sighed and slowly took off the jacket. She spread her wings out and looked down. "You...you aren't the only one." She said softly.

Zoey blinked her eyes in shock seeing someone else with wings. she looked down at Ron in her lap as Daniel walked in with a new shirt for Zoey. She thanked him and put it on carefully. She stood up and started walking to the door. "I must be going...Thank you for the help."

Saphirre quickly grabbed her wrist. "No! I-I mean, you can't leave. You know what happened to me. You were there. You...you're like me." Saphirre spoke quickly, worried that Zoey was going to leave. She asn't sure she'd be able to find her again.

Zoey looked at the ground. "They knocked me out one day and I woke up with wings three days later." She looked at Saphirre. "Then a year later they knocked me out again and took something from me, I was four months, four months pregant with a girl! They took my daughter from me and experemented on her! I saw her only a few times and once a coworker of mine tried to do something to her so I acted!" tears welled up in her eyes. "T-then they moved me to another part of the facilty and I never saw her again." Ron trotted over to her and nuzzled her legs.

Saphirre stared at her. "Z-Zoey...I was that baby girl." She said quietly. "I'm so sorry they did that to you. They're such awful people there..."

Zoey was soon bawling and hugged Saphirre close to her, the woman finally broke. Daniel smiled sadly and walked back to his room, not wanting to bother them.

Saphirre hugged her back and began to cry softly. She held her tightly and silently let the tears run down her face. "I-I'm so sorry...

Zoey smiled lightly, tears still streaming down her face. "Saphirre, I'm crying because I'm happy you're okay." she placed her hands on Saphirre's face. "You've grown so much."

Saphirre smiled through her tears and nodded slightly. "I'm glad you're okay too." She said, wiping her tears away with her good hand.

She tilted her head and saw that Saphirre was favoring her arm. "Hon...let your boyfriend check out your arm please." She smiled lightly. "I'll be out here."

Saphirre nodded and trailed into Daniel's room. She hesitated in the doorway. "...Daniel?"

Daniel was sitting on his bed when he looked up to see Saphirre in the door way. "Hm?" He saw her arm was bleeding a bit and he got up quickly, looking at it carefully.

She held it out and tried not to wince. "I-I landed on it pretty hard..Guess I was just being clumsy again." She said, managing a slight grin.
