Scarlet stared at Syreen with a smile as she jumped up and down. "Nice to meet you too," she said, just so she wouldn't hurt Syreen's feelings.

Syreen giggled. "It's nice to have another girl around. Come on, I'll show you the place!" Syriel sighed. His sister was way too bubbly.

Syriel and Scarlet were heading back to the orphanage. It was still dark out, probably around midnight. -
Scarlet looked around. Nothing was ever this peaceful at her old home with her parents. There would always be music blasting, or words being thrown or something like that. And then a question popped in her head and she looked towards Syriel. "I have a question," she states, kind of meekly.

Syriel looked at her. "Well, ask away. I'll try to do my best to answer." He wanted her to trust him, so if answering questions was what it took, he would do it.

Scarlet took a deep breath and then just let the question out. "Why did you kill my parents?"
