"Ooooh, that sounds fanceh." I grinned. "Sure, I guess." -
OMG ITS SO CUTE OuO)
I nodded and grabbed the phone. "Hello?" The voice quickly answered. I ordered us a plate of cookies and two hot chocolates. -

I looked around the room thing, this time taking note of the details. "This whole place is a smanceh fanceh potato." I mumured in awe. "Do you... come here often?" -
FINALEEEEEEE X3)
I nodded, glancing down. "Yeah..." I sighed slightly. "My dad and I don't really get along." -

I nodded. "That's terrible..." I shook my head. "You're a wonderful person. Your dad should be able see that." -
I shook my head and sighed again. I lifted up the sleeve of my shirt to show her the mottled bruises on my upper arm. "This is what he thinks of me." I muttered.

I started at it in a mix of horror and anger. I felt my left eye twitched slightly. "That..." I gritted my teeth. "He doesn't deserve a daughter like you."
(I put the left eye twitch thing because my left eye twitches sometimes and it twitched when I read your post. XD) -
Yeah...)
I pulled the fabric back down and avoided her gaze. "I-I'm not as good as you think. You keep talking like I'm such a good person. I'm not." -
I shrugged. "You'll always be a good person to me. And from how my family insists that I'm very stubborn, I believe that said my statement will remain true."

I looked up at her, confused. "Why do you think that? All I've since we met is completely blow you off or insult you." -
I nodded. "Exactly. You're not trusting. You check everything. You don't let people in. The people who are the most closed off are always the best kind of best friend." I laughed. "But I'm not expecting us to get there. I can even see it when you smile- don't even deny it, we all saw you smile that one time. You probably guard secrets with your life. You probably hate to see people hurt." I shrugged. "You're a great person, even if you don't think so."
(HOLY- I THINK I JUST TYPED A SPEECH! O.o) -

I gazed at her with wide eyes, surprised. "You...you really think that? No one's ever said something like that to me before." I admitted with a slight blush. She had been spot on in her description of my closed off state though. Indie seemed like a really good person herself. Maybe I could open up a little if it meant we could be friends. -
I nodded. "It's a shame that nobody's ever told you that. It's practically fact."

I couldn't hold back the slightest hint of a smile at her reply. "Thank you." A knock sounded at the door and I stood up, eagerly collecting the plate of cookies and the two steaming mugs. I thanked the waiter and set the things down.

"You're welcome~" I said. I looked at the cookies. "You know, I never knew how many cookies someone can eat in a day." I stated randomly.
