"I'm Caleb." He said. "And that's Ruby. She'll warm up to you eventually, don't worry." He said with a light laugh.

"We'll see~!" I said in a sing songy voice. "Nice to meet you. Also, it smells salty here." I said, with my most serious voice. I imitated a man's deep voice. "Make sure there are no turtles in your shoes." I laughed. "But seriously, it does smell salty. Not that that's a bad thing. Oops, sorry. I'm rambling again."

Caleb looked at her a little strangely. "That's fine. Here we are!" He announced, arriving at the gates of Camp Half Blood.

"Wer!" I shouted. "This place looks interesting." I pretended to stroke a beard I didn't have. "Guess she wasn't sending me to a mental facility after all."

Ruby crossed her arms. "Can I go now?" Caleb nodded. "So, Indie, you want a tour?"

"Sure!" I said bouncing. I looked at Ruby. "Have fun burning down orphanages!" I said half sarcastically. I turned back to Caleb and shrugged. "Okay maybe that was rude. But still. She doesn't seem exactly the friendly type, so..."
(It's Caleb, right? I'm bad with names, sorry.) -

Caleb grinned. "She's actually really sweet once you get to know her. Give if some time." -
"Okay. I'll try." I said. "Though it might not happen. I tend to scare people off. And that, my acquaintance-" I paused for effect, "is why I have never had a friend. Aaaannnyway." I looked around again. "Does this place have a name or something?"

"We could be friends." He offered, poking her playfully. "Oh, and yeah. Camp Half Blood."

I looked down at my feet. "Uh... I guess." I said, kicking at the ground. I looked up. "Cool name though."

He nodded. "Home to most of the demigods in America."

"Cool." I said. I realized I sounded repetitive. "So uh..."
