Coolio)
Caleb- I gave Indie a reassuring smile. "We can do this." I told her. Then I charged.
Percy- The whole scene was complete chaos. Monster dust and blood was spilled as we made our way towards Kronos. I whirled and jabbed thoughtlessly, mowing down monster after monster in a desperate attempt to save the city. -
I nodded to myself, following my friends leads, stabbing and jabbing the monsters around me with my trident. I hardly even noticed the blue gooey substance on my arm, but when I did, I didn't care. If it was harmful I would deal with it later.
-
Percy- After what seemed like an endless amount of monsters were defeated, the seven of us stood in a pile of monster dust, staring at Kronos. He still wore that sickeningly confident smirk. "Luke," I turned, surprised. Ruby had spoken. "Please. I know you're in there." Kronos' smile faltered for a moment. Annabeth, seeing the change, joined in. "Luke, please!" His eyes flickered for a moment, but they soon changed back to that awful gold. It was no use. "We have to kill him." I told the others solemnly.
-
I frowned. Killing a person... it was different than killing a monster. I shook my head. This guy is a monster now. Just another monster... just another thing to kill.
-
Percy- "Surround him. We all charge on my signal." I muttered to the others. We slowly spread into a circle surrounding Kronos. His gaze darted around; he knew he was trapped.
-
I was in the circle, on what I would say was the right side. My grip on my trident tightened, my knuckles going white. I grinded my teeth together.
(This scene is actually kinda difficult to write about.) -
Yeah, I know...)
Percy- "Now!" I shouted. All at once, we charged forward. Kronos swept his sword in an arc, trying to deflect as many of us as possible. However, most of us were able to hit him. I heard a few cries of pain from my friends and winced, but drove forward, my sword sinking into a small piece of exposed skin. He roared in pain, golden ichor seeping from the wound. More and more marks appeared as the others slashed and stabbed at him. -
I flinched every time he roared out. The sound hurt my ears. It was loud and full of pain. Yet, I kept on hitting him like my life depended on it, which it probably did.
-
Percy- Finally he fell, his screams fading into silence. His body was covered in wounds, his golden blood shimmering. That's when I noticed his eyes. They weren't golden anymore. Annabeth knelt down by his side. "Luke..."
Diana- I looked around to survey the damage. Indie and Travis both seemed okay. Caleb had a pretty big cut on his arm though, and Ruby...My eyes widened. She was unconscious a few feet away, bleeding. When Kronos swung his sword he must've hit her. -
I followed Diana's wide eyed gaze, only to see Ruby unconscious on the ground. My own eyes widened, and I rushed over to her, panicking only slightly, while kneeling down, looking to see if she had any noticeably bad inguries.
-
Diana- I knelt down next to Indie and bit my lip, unsure of what to do. It looked like she had hit the wall pretty hard. "We should bring her back to the hotel." I said. "And tell the others we've won." Annabeth rose silently from her spot next to Luke. She and Percy hugged. I wasn't sure whether to be happy or upset. We'd won, but at what price?
-
I nodded. "Are we gonna do the cliche 'one arm over my shoulder, one arm over your shoulder' thing? If so, she should probably go on my left side..." I gestured to the blue goo soaking into my right arm. "I don't know what this is, but we should probably keep it away from her, right?"
-
Diana- I stared at her arm. "We should probably get that off of you. Soon." I looked up at Travis. "Can you carry Ruby?" He nodded and lifted her up. We started back towards the hotel and I pulled Indie's good arm, dragging her over to the healers.
-
I followed obidiently. "But it's already soaking into my skin..." I mumbled. Most of the goo was already soaked into my skin, but a little bit remained. My arm gent a little tingly as well. "Now my arm is blue." I huffed. "Blue is not a flattering skin color."
-
What's the blue stuff? )
Diana- The healers quickly wiped away what was left off the goo. "What is that stuff?" I asked them. Turning to Indie, I smiled a little. "At least it doesn't hurt...right?"
