Arcelio sighed, looking down at Rosario. He didn't know how Rayson was planning on getting them into the hospital and back out without the Canadian government finding out that their entire family didn't legally exist, but he just had to trust it was somehow possible.
-
"Listen. Here's what's gonna happen. We're gonna drop Ro off, and I'm gonna make some calls, and then we're gonna stay outside and wait. He won't like it, but it's the conditions of a friend of mine that owes me a favor."
-
Arcelio listened, then nodded slowly. Rayson was always one to have connections almost everywhere. "Alright. Sounds good."
-
Rosario couldn't help but glance over at the sleeping form of his son, furrowing his brow. "I don't want it to happen again, Arcelio."
-
Arcelio followed his gaze at Rosario, then looked back up at Rayson. "What to happen again?" He asked, keeping his eyes steady on Rayson.
-
He pulled into the hospital parking lot, turning the car off. "I don't want anyone to take him from us again."
-
He nodded, then, looking at the boy in his arms. "Neither do I... Should I wake him up now?"
-
"No. Let him sleep.. I'll be right back." He got out, opening his cell phone. In the span of three minutes, he had made five calls, making arrangements for Arcelio and himself to stay in a hotel, and Rosario to stay in the hospital over night, and his car to be picked up. When he finally hung up on the last car, a tall women with bleached blond hair was rolling a wheelchair out of the hospital doors. She left it at the passenger side, moving to give Rayson a quick hug before he opened the door. "Arcelio, this is Alexandra, my cousin. She's going to take care of everything, alright?"
-
When the wheelchair was pulled up, Arcelio opened the door and got out, carefully lowering Rosario into the seat. "As long as you have no history of kidnap," he said to Alexandria, "I'm just fine with it."
-
"Of course not," She hummed out, whisking Rosario away. Rayson leaned against the car, running a hand through his hair. "Arcelio, I got us a hotel room, and I don't know about you, but I reaaaallly need to f--- something right now."
-
Arcelio huffed, crossing his arms. "Your priorities are amazing," he stated, raising an eyebrow at Rayson. "We need to pick Angel up from the neighbor's. Unless you want to call them and say she'll be there a while."
-
"Already took care of it. They're going to use the spare key to get her clothes for the morning, and she's sleeping over there. Come on, Arcelio. Please?"
-
Arcelio breathed heavily again, but it was true that they hadn't had any sex in a while. "Alright, fine," he agreed heavily, but honestly he was sort of looking forward to it by then.
-
Rayson resisted the urge to fist pump the air, and returned to his side of the car, waiting for Arcelio to buckle up so that they could leave.
-
Arcelio rolled his eyes at Rayson, but got back into the car, shutting the door and buckling himself in.
