Will smiled at them both. "Well? Aren't you going to get acquainted with the children?"
Sebastian let go of Maria's hand and a few kids when towards him, pulling at his and asking him many things that children would ask a grown up. A few kids went over to Maria and tugged at her to come play. -
Maria smiled and let the kids drag her along, laughing slightly at their constant chatter. It was nice to see vampires getting along with humans and wolves, and vise versa.

Sebastian sat on the ground as kids climbed on him like a jungle gym. He smiled at them and started to tell them stories about his appropriate stories as a police officer. He chuckled at how they were in awe at him.
The little kids around Maria asked her how she was so pretty and many other girly and kid things to her, like if Sebastian was her boyfriend. Will watched them both and smiled, walking away to go check on the children that were sick. -
Maria smiled and patiently answered their constant questions, blushing slightly at the many inquiries about her and Sebastian. A few little girls started to play with her hair and Maria laughed softly, letting them attempt to braid the dark curls.

A few of the kids that were with Sebastian fell asleep in his lap and he sat patiently, patting their backs and smiling. He adored children, he always had ever since Will brought him here after his father died. He glanced over and smiled at Maria, happy to see she was enjoying the visit.

Another little boy climbed into Maria's lap and he began telling a story. Every once in a while another child would interrupt with a detail he had missed or gotten wrong. Maria listened with a smile on her face and cast a glance over at Sebastian. Her smile widened taking in the image of Sebastian with the sleeping children.

Will came back and smiled seeing that they both were having fun with the kids. She sighed and looked at them. "We have to go you two." She heard the kids go awe in disappointment and Will told them it was nap time anyways.
All the kids got up except for a little vampire girl that was laying in Sebastian's lap. He smiled lightly and picked her up carefully, walking to one of the rooms and set her on a free bed. He walked back out and sighed. -
Maria finished saying goodbye to all the kids and walked back to Sebastian, feeling slightly happier than before, and much healthier. "That was fun." She said with a smile, returning a wave from one little boy before he went and hopped into a bed.

Sebastian hugged her gently and kissed her forehead. "mhm. Will knows I have a soft spot for kids." He grinned and walked her back to the car. Will waved goodbye to both of them as she watched them leave, hoping he would like the news.
Sebastian got Maria home and smiled as he walked into the manor. He was glad to be home, but he loved the orphanage, he wasn't able to visit the place in a while since he was promoted to chief. -
Maria took a deep breath and nervously approached him. "Sebastian, I have to tell you something. About what was wrong with me this morning..." She tried to keep her voice steady. After the orphanage, it was clear that he liked kids, but did he want some of his own?

He blinked and looked at her. "What do you mean? I thought you just needed fresh air." He tilted her head up. "What truly was wrong Maria?"

Maria hesitated before replying. "Sebastian...I'm pregnant." She whispered, praying he wouldn't be mad.

He blinked slowly, letting the words process in his head and a grin appeared on his face. He lifted her up by the waist carefully as he spun her around. "Maria that's fantastic!" He kissed her gently, trying to contain his happiness.

Maria hugged him tightly. "I was so scared you'd be angry..." Maria smiled up at him. "Oh, Sebastian, I'm so happy..." The realization seemed to settle in. She and Sebastian were going to have a child.

He hugged her back tightly, but carefully so he didn't hurt her or the baby. He blinked and tilted his head lightly. "Something wrong Maria? I know you're excited, but are you realizing something?"
