The idea of the wall being struck down was a myth. All of the walls were strong; Powerful, even. A titan couldn't have gotten through. At least, that's what we all thought.
A huge giant that we call the Colossal titan kicked wall Maria down like it was a soccer ball. A huge chunk of the human population died. People were forced to retreat deeper into the walls.
Are you willing to be the person who will save mankind? Are you willing to join the Scouts and risk your life?
I have a few things that are MUSTS for joining:
-No Gary Sues or Mary Sues. Obviously, your character will eventually get hurt. They can't kill all of the titans they encounter. Moreover, someone's character will probably die.
-I expect decent (if not amazing) grammar. I'm fine with minimal missing punctuation marks, and I can tolerate things like mistaking "your/you're".
-No more than three characters.
Since we're starting after the point where the Titans obliterated part of wall Maria, your characters will have to be of proper age (older than 12) and will have to be in the Military. ALSO, I'm sure most of you will want to have your characters in the Garrison branch, it will be harder for your characters to have contact with another if you want to be in the Survey Corps or Military Police Brigade. Do note that you can make three characters- enough for one character per each branch- if you choose.

Branches Available
Garrison
The Garrison takes care of all defenses for the Wall whether it be patrols, repairs, or improvements. As such, they spend most of their time preparing for attacks against the Wall. The Garrison mans the cannons on the Wall that are often used for long-range Titan defense. They must also deal with civilian evacuation and have emergency plans for dealing with scenarios for when the Wall is breached.
Survey Corps
This military division is in charge of the exploration and the eventual reclamation of human territory from Titan-infested lands. Prior to the breach of Wall Maria, they explored the land outside of the Wall, though never getting that far due to the heavy casualties suffered by Titans.
Presently, they have been laying down supplies from the Wall Rose Trost District to Wall Maria Shiganshina District in preparation to seal the breach and reclaim Wall Maria.
A more recent unofficial duty has been Titan observation and research. Given the safer nature of exploring within Wall territory (since Titans can only enter a Wall at one point), a wealth of information has been revealed such as their tolerance of pain, sunlight dependence, and intelligence.
Military Police Brigade
The Military Police Brigade is the primary police force within human territory. Not only do they maintain order, they serve as the king's guard. Since they do not normally come in contact with Titans, they must have special permission to use 3D gear and usually carry firearms such as rifles instead. They are also in charge of tax collection and land distribution. They usually abuse these duties to exploit resources and food from civilians. -

Looks: Sheldon has coffee brown hair that he has in a short ponytail and unnatural deep red eyes. His eyelashes are mixed matched- the right side is blonde while the other side is brown. He has slightly tanned skin. He's pretty tall- around 6'1- and has strong muscles.
Personality: Usually happy, but very sensitive when it comes to bloody things.
Likes: Sweets, dancing, flirting
Dislikes: Spicy food, water
History: Sheldon was raised by three different sets of parents. He never met his real parents because they ran away to the outside world after he was born. He promised to himself that he'd help mankind before looking for his family.

Looks: Dachi has bright red hair that's straight but curls at the end. His eyes are a dark green. His eyelashes are black. His skin is average Caucasian. Dachi stands around 5'5 and is scrawny with barely any muscle.
Personality: He's very vain but friendly.
Likes: Killing things, himself
Dislikes: Titans, sour foods
History: Dachi was raised by his Uncle while his parents worked away from home until he was ten. When wall Maria was struck down, he and his parents fled. He told himself that he'd fight the titans if it killed him.

Age: 18
Branch: Military Police Brigade
Looks: May has short and wavy blonde hair that's above her shoulders. Her eyes are a light grey. Her eyelashes are blonde. She has pale skin that's pretty much like a vampire's. She's 5'3 and is average weight with a little bit of muscle.
Personality: She can be shy around adults, but other than that, she's very happy and bubbly.
Likes: All food, the color pink, cats, books
Dislikes: Fighting
History: She was born into a rich family but preferred to live with her friends that weren't as rich.
Other: Close friends are Sheldon Makusute and Maybell Rekishuw. -
