"I assume you are aware of the importance of the hospital to The Slash. If there's ever going to be a contract, it has to be fair."

"And it will be. In a way that doesn't result in a loss of business on our end."
She looked down at the ground and pursed her lips.
"I can offer you the whole of Tin Avenue. There's an old steel mill along this route that I think you might find helpful." -
"You know, giving up the hospital has several consequences for us. I'm sorry but we can't just trade it for nothing. Please understand."
Whether she was serious or not, her offers didn't make sense to Dan. -
"It's not really nothing. That steel mill is pretty cool. I know you can- wait, how about the Second Street business district? Tin Avenue and Second. Would that be enough for you?"

"The hospital has a key role in our business, I'm sure you understand. We need something to replace its benefits to our control over the city and to our finance. The two I asked for could make up for this, but the streets? Nope."

"I'm not only offering streets. Every business along those ways will be yours as well."
She paused, biting the inside of her cheek in frustration until she tasted blood on her tongue.
"We can afford to give up the brewery, if you really need it so badly." -
"Now that's a good offer. I will definitely consider it. What else did you want besides the hospital?"

"No further territories aside from what we've discussed. Brickler Street and on as well as the brewery will be yours. The hospital on Canary and everything east is ours."
