Nick quickly shoved his hands in-to his desk, not realizing it was utterly empty. He quickly banged his knuckles against the metal back-side and recoiled in mild pain. He quickly grabbed a pencil out of the front-pocket of his back-pack and raised it a few inches above.
Mr. Dovebux shuffled through his papers, obviously doing some-thing very hefty and important, and returned his attention to the students. One, likely James, had ear-plugs in his ears and his lids shut, with a slight nudge of his head, obviously listening to music.
Mr. Dovebux loved and hated these scenarios, at Yale his students would pay very close attention, but here, some students were simply disrespectful. But he loved the opportunity to make his 'children' seem in-sane. He quickled gathered a strong force in his head -- but an external disturbance interrupted his thought.
"Mr. Dovebux. Wasn't Shakespeare a reported Pedophile?" A female student in the back asked across the room.
"And what I said 'yes'?" Dovebux speculated, with-out shifting his vision. -
Lololol)
-
XD XD XD)
Lucy scooted her chair a bit closer to Nick. "You can share my book since you don't have one," she offered, an innocent smile on her face. -
James acted like he was paying attention.
-
Nick was a bit dazed at the random student's random remark. He had never heard any-thing the such back in home-school, socially or educationally. 'Course, socially he wasn't quite adapted.
He turned his attention to Lucy, seeing her pulling out a rather hefty book and sliding it on her own desk. He quickly responded a swift "Yes" in a knee-jerk kind of way.
The random student promptly followed up a "Don't you, at times, proclaim you are following in his shoes?"
Mr. Dovebux gave her a very estranged stare, but then knew exactly what she was getting at. "Yes. And I still do." He said smugly.
Multiple students already had their hands clutched over their mouths, trying their hardest to not let laughter seep through. -
Luke had trouble holding back his laughter, even in his current situation. He slighty hovered his hands above the table, hoping no one would notice.
-
Lucy's face was - for the millionth time- bright red as she stared at Mr. Dovebux. Jeremy was string at the teacher, looking more than a little disgusted.
-
James looked around, wondering what everyone was laughing about.
--
Mariah broke out laughing, her face red like a sunset. She couldn't believe what she just heard. -
Luke looked at Mariah and for a bit his attention slipped, and he touched the book. As it turned invisible, he retreated his hands under the table.
-
The young girl was slightly de-railed of thought as Mr. Dovebux so calmly and smugly replied. How-ever, she felt the need to go along with the joke.
"Then I know you want me. You're not taken, right?" She pointed out, slouching in her chair slightly. She had a look of a hybrid of surprise, hysteric, and anxiety. A few students burst out laughing as they seen Mr. Dovebux's facial expression, smug as ever.
Mr. Dovebux sat back in his quaint black chair, and began to carefully look through manilla folders.
"As I said, I prefer to follow in Shakespeare's shoes as he was -- and is -- a role-model to me. As such, absolutely no logically-reinforced theories or rhetorics have come across me yet." He said with contempt. He let a pause wash over the class before he began again.
"So the answer is no. Besides, why should I?" He said, a slight gaze slipping through his slipping glasses. -
Lucy glanced at Nick to see his reaction. Would he be disgusted like Jeremy? As embarrassed as Lucy? Or would he laugh it off like the others?
"What about me Mr. Dovebux?" A male student called in a joking voice. -
Nick kept a stern and solid face, hiding most emotions. But in-side, his lid had just been popped has laughter emerged from every side. He didn't even know he had this much will-power. It took him every-thing not to cause an aneurysm.
Mr. Dovebux peeked over at the male student just for a moment. Immediately, he forced the student to think of all things hideously sexual, but nothing between him-self and the student. "No." He said in a discerning manner. -
The student blushed madly and looked down. "God, I was only joking..."
Lucy shuddered. She'd hate to know who he really did want. She nervously glanced at the strange teacher. -
Mariah sighed, and continued her drawing.
--
J continued listening to music. -
(more specific version of the above)
Mariah, letting her cheeks puff out, and stop from laughing, shifted her attention to her drawing. She had to keep her head down low. She couldn't screw this up.
--
J, listening to Falling In Reverse, began meddling around with his power, screwing around with the lighting of the room. He gave a smug look.
