She scooted out of his lap. "I... I don't know." She was still smiling.

He huffed lightly. "Awe, don't go away you were warm." He grinned playfully.

It was probably about mid-afternoon. She shook her head, stood up, and grinned. "You have to catch me." Then, she raced out of the room.

He scrambled up quickly and chased after her. "Hey! Get back here Lottie!" He laughed and with his long legs he had almost caught up with her.

She reached the other wing of the second floor, a place which he hadn't been in yet.

He followed after her and looked around. He had now gotten lost trying to chase after her. He swore lightly and looked around.

She waited in one of the bedrooms, the door slightly open. Outside, she heard Nate looking for her. She peeked out and snuck up behind him.

He blinked and heard soft footsteps behind him and he grinned slightly. He turned around quickly and wrapped his arms around her waist. He leaned down and whispered in her ear. "It's not nice to sneak up on people."

She smiled. "I was going to tell you I was there... just not right away."

He laughed kissed her cheek. "Really? Well I think I would have been scared if you would have told me later."

"Scared? Really?" she asked. "Of me?"

He laughed again and smiled down at her. "If you snuck up on me then yes I would have been scared."

She laughed a bit. "Okay, Nate." She wrapped her arms around him.

He blushed a bit and held her closer. "You're...an odd girl Lottie but a great odd girl."

She smiled, and looked away. "Thanks."
