Rowan sat in the other after pushing hers right next to the other to the point that the arms were touching. She curled her legs up on the chair, staring at all of the adults. There were ten females and ten males.
"You probably have a lot of questions," a female said. "Feel free to ask us now." Rowan's mother added. -
Horatio took one look at Rowan's mother and simply scoffed, before turning to a different one. "Well, an obviously one would be, why are we here?"

"You're here for two reasons. We're giving you both an important job, and then we have a special one for Rowan. Firstly, Twisted just killed a human family. He needs to be caught before his small crime turns into a death sentence. Secondly, Rowan, would you care to join the council? You're very powerful.."
Rowan glared at the person speaking. "No. No. No. I'm not joining your stupid little thing."
With her words, a blue haired teenager stood, pinning Horatio down. Another boy followed him to pin Rowan down as well. "We tried to ask nicely.. You will join. Maybe then we won't give you the task of killing your precious Daddy, or permanently striking the angel beside you down." -
"H-he killed a human family?!" Horatio was utterly shocked. He didn't even pay attention to the second part until it processed after the boys pinned him and Rowen down. "What's the point of asking if your going to force her?! You seem more like a council of f---ing morons!" He didn't mean for it to come out that way, but he was already pissed.

Reki stood, a hand on the table. She hopped onto it, walking over to him. "It was a gesture of kindness. We make sure to contain anyone with too much strength by making them stay here. I promise, she'll be in better hands than she get was with you or Twisted." She got down on her knees in front of him, smiling. "Since we're going to kill you, I'll let you in on a secret. We were the ones who made him sick that first day. And it wasn't just any virus, it made him lose a piece of his mind, making him seem cold and rude and vile. You saw the side of him we created. I personally just want him dead, and that was the only way."

He stared at her. Than cracked a smile. "You're a f---ing b----. The girl would better off be in my hands instead of you psychopaths. Very pathetic psychopaths might I add. I don't care what you do to the idiot. But let Rowen go. She's your dreaming daughter for heavens sake."

Reki snickered, standing up again. "Dreaming daughter? You're an idiot.. Such a pathetic insult. I don't care what she is to me. She could ruin our reputation as gods. Rowan will be stuck here if we feel like it." She turned, going back to her seat.
"Reki's done it! I bet the little angel is going to be offended that we call ourselves gods." The teenager teased, a grin on his face. His teeth were sharp. "Can I test Rowan's skills?" Everyone stood, walking to the sides of the room, a good fifty feet away. The table disappeared. All that was left was a clear ground area. Rowan as shoved to the floor as the teenager stood over her. -
"Gods? More like the dirt on the bottom of my shoes." He retaliated, the yawned. "s--- will always be s---."

The teen turned for a moment, kicking Horatio's stomach, before turning back to Rowan. "Are you scared, little girl? Do you want your first battle scar?"
Rowan shrunk into the floor, her eyes wide with fear. She let out a wail. There was the shadow once more. This time, it was split in half, and looked like Twisted and Horatio's shadows. -
He felt the air being knocked out of him. He almost felt like he would vomit. Instead he maintained his cool and looked back up. He stared at the shadows. "Hey, s--- number 2." Horatio said referring to the teen that kicked him. "Do not get f---ed up too badly."

The teen turned, about to kick him again, when a sword pierced through his chest. He gasped, looking down, before the light went out in his eyes. He fell to the ground.
Rowan scrambled over to Horatio, clinging to his leg. Reki shouted, "Kill the angel and put the girl in a magic block room! NOW!" -
"Noo you don't." Stood up. Horatio conjured up a bright blinding light, only the holy can't see. With that, he picked Rowen up.

Rowan started bawling, covering her face with her hands. The shadows disappeared into the light. The council members shrieked, falling to the floor. "I-I want daddy!"

"Ooh. Were gonna find Daddy." His voice had another hint of anger in it. Horatio ran to the door they came out of it opened it, channeling in a bit of magic on case. It opened and before he closed the door behind them he just had to say it."Bye b----!" Directed at Reki.
He closed the door and headed the same way they entered. Going back to tht main room, he saw the portal still opened and jumped in without hesitation. -
Rowan hid her face in his chest, starting to get frail in his arms. Once again, even though she hadn't used as much of the power as she had the first time in front of Horatio, it had drained her energy. "Is he in trouble for killing people he didn't mean to..?"
