Twisted saw the jealously in his eyes- He was a demon at heart, after all. He could see through any disguise. He would have to ask him about that later. He sighed, looking away.
Reki's hands began to grow. As if she was touching something invisible, she began to draw the outline of Horatio's wings. The outline left a shimmer in the air. Then, she said, "Are you ready for the pain, angel?" -
He closed his eyes and looked down. Feeling scared about what's coming next. "Yes."

Reki began to trace the outline again. This time, hollow bones filled in the space. They were attaching themselves to his spine, making them a part of him. She did this again, and a layer of muscle was there. The final layer was the skin and feathers.

Although the process Horatio gritted his teeth, trying to hold in any screaming. To take away the pain from his back, his nails dug in to his other arm, drawing some of the blood. After it was done he let out heavy pants.

Reki apologetically patted his shoulder. "It'll only last one hour.. Endure it." She kissed Rowan's forehead, disappearing.
Twisted went over to him, pulling him into his chest. "You can scream and cry all you want now.." -
Horatio pushed away. He was still panting and enduring this as much as possible. Though, it was harder to stand. "I-I don't need you for comfort." Horatio's words were accompanied by his heavy breathing and a hint of anger.

"..Well, then I'm leaving. You don't need to protect me, anyways, so why are you still hanging around? You should go away if you don't need me." Twisted backed up, turning and leaving the room.
Rowan watched her father leave. A frown took over her smile quickly. She didn't say anything at all. She went to the door, looking out, watching her father take off into the elevator. -
He didn't say anything. Horatio shook his head before falling to the floor. Then let out a loud scream. His body quivered in pain. This feeling didn't help either. In fact he hated it.

Rowan backtracked, running over too him. "Horatio, are you okay? What's wrong? Horatio, don't.. Don't worry! I'll find you an ice pack!" She jumped up, running to the freezer.

He struggled a lot, but finally got off the ground. He looked out of the clear balcony door. He just wanted to leave. Fly away and forget this. He didn't need that imbecile. Horatio, attempted, to steadily walk to the door, then opened it.

Rowan grabbed two of them. When she turned, she saw him at the door. She scrambled over, grabbing his wrists, dragging him back. She didn't say her reasons why, she just did it. Once she had safely gotten him back in, she hid her face in his back, starting to cry.

"....R-rowen..." He didn't bother to turn around. Though he thought it was strange she was actually crying.

"I-I've never seen Daddy acting so weird before. And I-I thought it was 'cuz he was stuck a-a-as a human. But he.. He's upset because he likes you. And I'm not talking a small like. He loves you! A-And he's scared that he'll mess up and make you hate him.. I heard him muttering in his s-s-sleep. You can't leave! If daddy decides to not come back, I won't have anyone.. And Daddy wants to be perfect, just to make you happy."

He stared forward. ".... I'll make sure he comes back for you... Or I'll go to him. But after that I'm leaving." He let out a grunt of pain. He almost forgot about the pain.

Rowan frowned, looking down at her feet. She didn't say anything after that. She, too, had become attached to Horatio in her own little way. She didn't want him to leave. "O-Okay.." She whispered. Rowan let go of him, turning away so he wouldn't see the fresh tears on her cheeks.
