He stopped talking. He took deep inhales, to help regulate his breathing while going through this. Soon the pain started to decrease as the hour came to an end.
-
For the whole hour, Twisted never showed up again. Soon, a hooded figure was there. "Angel Horatio. Demon Rowan. The council demands that you need to stay in a room that they made especially for you. They would like to speak to Rowan in private, but need a guardian to be present close by. You, angel, count as one. Must I speak more?"
-
He sighed. His wings went away temporarily, so he slipped his shirt back on. "Sure. Though I am curious of what this is about."
-
The person shrugged. "I honestly have no clue, so.. Be my guest and find out yourself." A portal appeared beside the person.
-
He looked back at Rowen, then grabbed her hand, pulling her in with him.
-
Rowan clung to his hand, sniffling. She didn't like portals at all. They made her sick and weary.
-
He held her a bit closer to him, attempting to comfort her since it seemed she didn't like it.
-
When they got to the other side, a room that had a huge bed, books, toys, a bathroom, and large pillows awaited them. Rowan didn't care, though- She was scared that they had been called for an unknown reason. She stayed close to Horatio. "It's too good to be true, huh?"
-
His eyes traveled around the room, trying to examine the area as thorough as he can from this distance. "Not sure..."
-
She let go of his hand after a moment, sighing a bit. "I better go see what the council wants.. Want to come along?"
-
He nodded. "Lead the way."
-
Rowan hesitated, looking for the door. Once she found it, she ran over to it, throwing it open. From there, she walked down a few doors until she was in front of two huge ones. She gulped. "Here."
-
He followed her, looking around the places they past. He looked at the doors. As a gentlemen, he opened the door for her.
-
Inside was a huge round table. About twenty people were there, their cloaks on the back of their chairs. Two empty chairs sat at the head of the table. "Come in," a man said.
-
His glances bounced to each person. He looked back at Rowen and gently pulled her in, closing the door behind him. Then he walked to one of the empt seats.
