Long ago, Twolegs tried time and time again to domesticate the larger, wilder felines, like the Panthers, Lions, Tigers(All variety), and the Cheetahs. And every time, they failed. What they got were smaller versions of these animals that were just as vicious and smart as their ancestors. Eventually, some of these cats escaped into the forest, and built a life there. After many seasons, they developed a system of leadership and authority, along with a code. Kill to eat and protect your young, put your leader before your life, and, most importantly, never mate with another species or let an outsider in.
There is Umbram Plagis, the group of Tigers. It is located on a Dense foresty area, and boarders Caelum Maculia.
There is Sol Feles, the Lions country. It is located on a small grassy area, with only a few scraggly trees. It boarders Saltus Exhibuit and Caelum Maculia.
There is Caelum Maculia, the Cheetahs home. It is a plain with rolling hills and valleys. It boarders Sol Feles and Umbram Plagis
Finally, there is Saltus Exhibuit, The Panthers land. It is a small mountain with many jagged rocks and cliffs. They boarder Sol Feles.
Ranks:
Leader- King and Queen- The leader and their mate, both of which hold tremendous power. When one of the Leaders die, the other steps down and the Successor comes into power.
Successor- Prince/Princess- The son/daughter of the King and Queen, which must be their oldest living child. Is trained by their parents, and becomes King/Queen when a leader dies and the other steps down. Must choose a mate before moonrise on the day the Leaders step down. If the Leaders have no kits, their closest relative comes into power.
Royal- A member of the leaders or Successors family who is not a Successor. If the successor becomes crippled or dies, their closest relative is chosen as Successor. They are also classified as a Runner or Fighter.
Runners- The faster felines. Their main jobs are Hunting and patrolling boarders. Can only become mates with other Runners.
Fighters- The strong, bulky cats. They are in charge of Guarding camp, and fighting. Can only become mates with other Fighters.
Healers/Healer Trainee- Healers are selected by the Leaders, and are in charge of gathering herbs and berries to cure their companions. Usually 2 experienced Healers and 2 Healer Trainees. Can be mates with another Healer, a Fighter, or a Runner.
Trainees- Apprentices- Trained by both a Runner and Fighter. Graduate into one of the 2 classes depending on what theyre best at when theyre 16 moons old.
Kits- The groups young. Become a Trainee at 8 moons old, and live with the Nurses.
Nurses- The females who are pregnant/nursing, or she-cats who are no good at any physical activity and spend their time taking care of their young
Yet some cats question the system, and have formed a secret group bent on overthrowing the leaders and the clans themselves. They call themselves the Ferae Umbram. What will happen when the Ferae Umbram make a move to destroy the Four Countries?

Personality: Confident, kind, a bit short tempered sometimes.
Skills: A fast runner, and a smooth talker
Weaknesses: He can manage in a fight, but he's bad at team work which makes him a poor warrior in group fights.
Name: Devil (I assume Resistance members can have rogue-type names? If not, I'll change it.)

Fur: Deep orange, almost red. Thin jagged and uneven stripes.
Eyes: One is peircing gold, the other is blood red
Personality: Harsh, brutally honest, stubborn
Other: Hates the System with a passion. She was raised as a member of Umbram Plagis, but as she grew older she began to notice the structured lifestyle's faults. After a mysterious accident, Devil (then called Redpelt) couldn't take any more. She ran away and discovered the Resistance, and she has been incredibly loyal to them ever since.
Skills: A great fighter, and intensely determined. She is willing to die for her beliefs. She's tough and to the point; she'll get the job done.
Weaknesses: She's quick to lash out, and is suspicious of anyone from the Countries. Her temper gets her into trouble often. If anyone asks about her past, she gets extremely edgy, so don't question it. -
