"And it works, all the way out here?" He leaned over and looked at the phone.

She shook her head. "Only the games work. I can't call anyone or message anyone. Which is probably a good thing. Also...it's almost dead anyways." She was playing a puzzle game.

"Oh... Yes, that's probably for the best." He watched her play.

She looked at him and held it out to him. "Would you like to try? It's really simple, all you have to do is match one jewel with two of the same jewels or more."

He reached over and touched the screen, matching a set of three, then shook his head. "I'd rather watch you play."

She huffed and rolled her eyes. "Fine. " she started playing again and soon got through 10 levels until the phone died. "Sad. My entertainment died."

"Hold on, I'll be right back." He left and returned with a handheld video game.
"You have stuff like this on Earth, right? It's mine from when I was younger. If you want, we can play it together and I'll translate for you." -
She blinked lightly and nodded. "Yeah, we have those, alot of them." She thought for a moment and shrugged. "Sure, I don't mind that." She smiled.

He turned it on and started the first game, one that was probably a lot like Pokemon.

She blinked again and started playing a bit. "Um...you said that your people could live on my home...why would they want to though?"

"We prefer your culinary expertise." He watched as she played the game, and translated as words appeared on the screen. It was a little tough to go so quickly, but it was excellent practice.

She laughed lightly. "So you guys like our food?" She kept playing and listen to what he said the game was telling him. "That's an odd reason to stay on my planet...we do nothing but pointless fighting."

He nodded. "I don't know why you fight so much... Humans are-- no offense-- greedy." He smiled. "You're good at this game."

She laughed. "none taken. I accept that some...humans are greedy. Not all of us are." She smiled back. "I used to play video games alot until I got attached to photography. Then I started going places and taking pictures of everything."

"And most of you seem to forget that you're our aliens. You're foreign to me." He smiled. "I'd like to see some of your photography sometime." The doorbell rang. "Pizza's here." He stood and went to get the door.
