Jerry stood up quickly, lunging from his chair to a firm standing position. He kept his position, and sat his index finger upon his lips up-right. He then whisper "Shhhh.". He pointed to one of the building glasses, where a hoard of walkers were mongering towards their area. They were a ways off, and slow, but their movement was definite. He then turned to face the woman and child. He said in a loud whisper, "What the hell is going on?!".
Alexis was still rummaging through the desks and heard a screech. She immediately pushed her-self against one the desks. It was night-time. Pitch black. She could hardly see any-thing. She pulled out the pocket knife she found and held it near her chest, as if she were about to plunge it into some-thing. She didn't peek to see what was going on. In-stead, she noticed a few walkers approaching the back of the sky-scraper. They would be on to them in a minute. -
"You to me!" Lilly said springing to her feet. Making jake take the other knife she had. She still held the knife pointing it at the boy and little girl. She still stay near the wall.

Jerry heard a small crunch behind him, but dismissed it as either Alexis or a cold breeze. It seemed that the sun was barely starting to rise out-side. He and Alexis had been in here for awhile now. "Ok. I s'pose I will. Me and my daughter were searching for supplies. Then he *pointing at the young boy* came in here claiming he had heard a 'scream', then you come in here and take him hostage." Jerry said with dis-taste, his voice staying quiet.
Alexis looked at the trembling walker with horror. It didn't have a shirt on, and it's pants were badly burnt, it seemed as though they were burnt into it's skin. It's skin was burnt horribly, what-ever of it remains is charred. She pushed against the desk, and sneakily crept by to her father's desk. "Dad! There's a zombie near the back-door." She said. She was pretty sure neither the raging woman or aloof young boy seen or heard her. -
"He's my brother!" she said and Grabbing the knife and putting up near the mans throat. "Oh gosh so scary." The boy said and started to head down to get it. He stabbed the walker in the head. "I wish the girl would grow up!" jake said when he headed in the room.

(Wait, I thought we were a ways away. Like, about 4 meters away from each other. And, when your characters speak, try to explain how they spoke it.)

(Let's try again? Oh, and make your characters act like they have their stats. Make Jake, since he has a 5 in intellect, sound smart, maybe even a genius. It makes the characters seem more appropriate.)
