This year.
-
Don't worry, I'm making it now.
-
Ok!
-
Any luck yet?

Done with the second paragraph. If you don't like it, we can adjust it. Then we'll move on to the character templates.
-
(Ok, then. Thanks.)
This year, the world has come to an end. Some have fore-told of the disaster, but it was never supposed to be this. Movies have pictured it, games have portrayed it, and people have drooled over it. The day of reckoning. The CDC, the Center of Disease Control, had been testing an experimental cure for cancer. No-body had acknowledged this, as it was kept mostly secret. Half a year ago, the cure was released to the public under the name of a 'Micheal Pearson'.
The CDC was praised and Micheal Pearson was flying with the richest of man. How-ever, a month ago, the people who were cured with cancer were beginning to feel bade side-effects. First dizziniess. Then vertigo. Then they suffered severe insomnia and even cannibalism. Eventually, they struck with... Some-thing worse than cancer. Tumors had grown so horribly that the tumors protruded from their skin and muscles.
But now, (this entire paragraph depends on whether it's before or after the out-break.)
Like it so far? -
Ok! Do you like it?
-
I love it!!
-
Awesome! (I gotta go soon. In about 10 minutes, I'll be away for 20 minutes.)
I like. So, before or after the disaster? -
We will start after.
-
Sweet.
So, how long after? How many years, months, weeks, or days? -
2 months
-
K. Collateral damage would be moderate, fresh, but burnt out. The population would be newly devastated and still recuperating.

But now, 2 months after-ward, humanity is trying to adapt. And failing at that. Abandoned buildings have been used for refuge, as the infected have scoured over every-thing, any-thing they are able to get in. So humanity has taken to a nomadic life-style. Scavenging and scrounging up any-thing useful.
(Sorry, had to get dinner.) -
Ok I like it.
