Sorry it took me so long.
-
It's fine.
Want me to start? -
Yes please.

Tanner was curled up in his designated corner. The scientists told him to stay put in that corner, or else. They never said what would happen, but knowing them, he'd get hurt. The room was empty, so Tanner had nothing to amuse himself with. He was currently counting sheep in his head. Fifty nine, sixty, sixty one..
-
(What did you mean when you said the scientist was going all ""?)
The other scientists had instructed to keep watch of one of the experiments while they went down to the lower lab. Nikolas had happily obliged because he didn't know what was in the lower lab, but whatever happened down there, he was sure he didn't want to see it. So he worked on mixing certain things and tidied up a bit, all the while keeping an eye on the experiment that lay in the corner. -
(I have no clue. xD I guess love interest or something. I'm getting tired and I stop making any sense.)
He eventually laid down, careful not to spread out too much, for fear of getting in trouble. He was on his back. He used his hands as the sheep. Tanner continued to count, a dull, blank look on his face. The sheep counting game was almost too boring. For a brief moment he wished he had someone to talk to, no matter how short, who it was... He dropped the idea as quickly as it appeared. "Dammit!" Tanner cursed, realizing that he had lost count of the sheep. -
(Ah, okay. xP)
Nikolas looked up, slightly startled by the voice. "Hey," he called to the experiment. "No talking. Or else." He remembered to add on that last part like the other scientists had instructed him. -
(Sorry for the confusion.
Are you going to be coming on every now and then so we can continue this tomorrow~?)
Tanner opened his mouth to argue with him when he realized that it could mean trouble. He quickly sat up. It looked like he was the only one there. Like a small child doing something wrong, he hesitated, before saying, "You don't scare me. I was counting sheep, and I ruined it. I can talk all I want." He was surprised at how good it felt to say that. Tanner had a soft voice, however, due to rarely using it. -
Nikolas was shocked and didn't really know how to react. "I said no talking!" He insisted, louder this time.
-
(It's okay.
And yeah, I'll try not to forget.) -
Tanner was slightly angry with the scientist. He stood up, pulling away from the corner for a second, before pressing himself back up against it. He couldn't muster the courage to pull away. Finally, in an attempt for defiance, he said, "Sheep."
(Mm.
I'll text you tomorrow, if you want me to.) -
Nik stomped his foot and clenched his fists. "Shut up!" He yelled. He grabbed a scalpel from the countertop and started to approach the experiment.
-
(Sure, that sounds good.)
-
His eyes grew wide at the scalpel. His eyes gleamed in the light, and suddenly, the scalpel was in Tanner's hands, and not the scientist's. He dropped it. The scalpel clattered to the floor, but not before cutting his hand open.
-
Nikolas frowned. "Great," he muttered. Now not only did he have to mark down this in his notes, but he had to tend to the experiment's wound.
