oh btw i met an emily marie yesterday
She looked over at the vampire. "Thanks... I suppose." She smiled halfheartedly. -

"Stop worrying so much. I'll die before you do, I'm sure." -

"Right. If I'm lucky, I have seventy more years." The change of subject was good. -

"Oh I'd live you, but in a dire situation, I would die before you. Because you're the only one who can get to my brother and have a chance of helping him escape." -
"Well, I doubt you'll have to. I doubt he'd enjoy life without you, though."

"He's the younger one, so he'd probably be like a lost puppy. I feel like he's strong enough to take care of himself, but sometimes he can't. Right now is an example of that."

"And in this situation, you would..?" She stopped rubbing his index finger.

He was slightly confused by what she was asking. "..What do you mean?"

"If you'd been kidnapped. And he'd hunted me down." She rephrased her question.

"You're asking if I'd fight? Had I been kidnapped, I would probably die before Kayle could find you. I fight too much to simply be restrained."

"I'd like to think he would've waited for me to kill you, but..." She shrugged. "Then I would've actually been able to help Kayle."

"Until he ends up bit. I think he took Kayle because he's not as instinctive, you know? He doesn't like what we are, and honestly, neither do I, so he's never been much of a fighter. He has quite brain though, very intelligent. He could plan up something in no time and I take care of whatever he needs me to."

"Oh," was all she said in response. This brother sounded interesting, and Zander sounded very protective of him. She hoped they'd be able to help.

"Once we get to him, he'll surely figure out a way to get us out. At least I hope so..." Zander sighed and realized Anna's hand was still in his own. "..My hand doesn't feel cold anymore.."
