Sayuri stood there, speechless, unable to respond put of fear.
Chi transformed into a much larger lion creature with bat wings and crouched in the bushes close by, waiting to make his move. -
"IF YOU DON'T TELL ME I'LL..." before the beast could finish Renji sliced it's paw away. he glared at the beast. "That's very rude to yell at a woman." It turned to him and growled.

Chi quickly darted over, grabbing Sayuri by the collar of her dress and leaping off a ways, setting her down against a tree.

Renji chuckled lightly and his eyes grew stone cold. "Now that she's out of the way. I can finish you." The wolf charged at him and sliced with his only remaining paw. He winced and his already injured chest got worse. He snarled and jammed his sword into the wolf's chest, making it go silent. He pulled the sword out and fell over.

Sayuri snapped out of it, seeing that Renji was hurt. She ran over, eyes wide.
"Renji!"
Chi switched back to his smaller form and watched the dead demon closely. -
He sat up slowly and winced, his whole chest had three long cuts over it. "I'm fine, Sayuri. Just some scratches." He stood up and started to fall over again. The other demon didn't move, it dissipated leaving only a pelt of white wolf fur.

"No you're not fine! You were already hurt and now it's worse!" She huffed, looking like she might cry.
Chi disappeared into the bushes. -
He laughed lightly. "I swear I'm fine Sayuri. Just...three scratches. No wo.." His eyes rolled to the back of his head and he fell face first to the ground. His sword was still in his hand.

Sayuri squealed as he fell, then quickly yelled at Chi to get her first aid kit before sitting on the ground beside him, using a strip of her dress to try to stop the bleeding.

He twitched and chuckled lightly. "Alright...I guess I'm not fine, but still you don't need to worry." He blinked. "I wonder why that wolf was after you. You couldn't have the jewel right?"

Chi returned, handing the bag to Sayuri. Chi helped apply pressure to the wounds while Sayuri went about cleaning and binding them.
"I will worry..and well...I have a shard." -
"Worrying gets you no where with me." He smiled. "Trust me I get hurt alot." He thought for a moment. "Is that why you asked those questions before I got into the house?" He looked at the little demon. "Thank you, to both of you."

She nodded, and secured the bandage tightly. She looked at him and sighed "Its been in me since I was little, apparently my mom put it there when I was a baby because I was so sick."
Chi grinned, nodding. "No prob." -
"Huh that's interesting." He sat up and winced. He picked up his sword and used it as support when he stood up. "Well getting hurt twice in two days. That's.... A new record."

"Lets try not to break it again. That's weird though, there should of been a barrier blocking malevolent demons from entering this area.."She muttered the last part as she stood, dusting off her skirt.
