(lol it's fine. I was thinking of having the attack riiight...now.>:D)
He was about to answer, but a piercing howl rang from outside. His ears perked up and he got up grabbing his sword. He walked slowly to the door. -
(Did we decide on cat or wolf demons?)
She frowned, quickly standing up and walking over to look.
Chi snapped awake, fur bristling. -
(we decided on wolf demons.)
Renji started to open the door slowly when something big slammed the door of the hinges, knocking him over in the process. A big brown wolf snarled lowly. -
In the distance, a woman stood, smirking as the wolves caused havoc. She had short, pixie cut brown hair and wore a red headband. She was a wolf demon, with the typical appearance of one, and her name was Haruneko.
Sayuri screeched, seeing the demon attack Renji. -
Renji snarled back and brought out his sword he sliced at the beast. The wolf growled and tackled him, not even scared of the sword. "s---!" He slashed its stomach causing it to yelp loudly. He kicked it off. "Sayuri get somewhere safe now!" Another wolf charged in and clamped down onto his shoulder.

Sayuri blinked, nodding sharply.
Chi shifted form and nudged Sayuri toward the back door in the kitchen.
Haruneko ran down the path, leaping onto the shrine's roof and looking around. -
Renji growled and threw the wolf off his shoulder. It was bleeding badly, but he didn't care. He ran outside to see wolves everywhere. He noticed the Demon slayers were being outnumbered substantially. Soon he himself was surrounded by five wolves. He gripped the hilt of his sword tightly.

Sayuri climbed on Chi's back as they left the house. Chi ran down the path toward the shrine, knocking down all the demons in his way.
Haruneko frowned as she saw Renji, and her frown deepened as she noticed a priestess being protected by another demon.
"This won't do at all." She huffed. -
He snarled and the wolves attacked. The cut and slashed at him, but he didn't go down. He sliced and stabbed them, even cutting one of the wolves head clean off.

Haruneko leaped off the roof, and strutted toward Renji. She removed the feathered fans at her sides, spreading them open and glaring angrily.
She stopped when she came in ear shot of him, and scowled.
"Who the hell are you, killing my pack?" She growled. -
He smiled lightly. "Well you are on sacred ground, which I feel like protecting. And on the side." He growled lowly. "Your pack is very weak."

(I feel like we should end up leaving with Haruneko and she becomes part of the group somehow.w. )
She snorted, twitching a wrist. The fan opened completely, and a gust of wind blew from it, strong enough that it ripped the leaves off a nearby tree.
"This sacred ground used to belong to this pack. They were weakened when it was stolen from them." She sneered. "So why don't you just back down and leave." -
(sure! Then I'll figure out another character after her.)
He smiled more and laughed lightly. "Sorry I can't. There is a priestess that I want to keep safe. I'd be nice if you would leave." He raised up his sword and winced. -
(Yay~ ^-^)
"If you mean that priestess on the demon, she escaped unharmed. So you're free to follow her." Haruneko stated. -
(yeah!!!*sounds like that guy pony off my little pony*)
He sighed lightly and smiled. "Well I'll be seeing you." He shot off quickly following Sayuri's scent.
