Other: When she was 8 years old Fate got stuck in the woods and was possessed by the spirit of the Oracle, she has been in the woods ever since, looks like an 8 year old girl

(Okay)
Erika picked up Melody's bag. Erika knew that her friend would want her to have it. Erika dropped her own bag out the window, then Melody's. Erika slowly slipped out the window, avoiding any broken glass still in the window. She slipped her bag over her shoulder and carried her friends bag in her hand. She looked at Nikkili. "I don't know." This she looked at the bus. It was covered in plants and dirt. "Were you in a group?" Erika asked quietly.
Marina opened her eyes. She was above the swamp water. When did she rise? Marina sighed and swam back under. She swam through a tunnel. The tunnel held underwater paths to other ponds, lakes and swamps in the woods. Marina noticed that the water in one of the paths was rippling. The path lead to a pond near the outside of the forest. Curiosity got the better of her and Marina swam into the path.
(Sorry I took forever. Marina is now in this!) -
*then (not this)
(Wow my spelling is terrible today XD) -
It ok! :D)
(Hey, since this is in a third-person narrative, we can control some other characters for very minor things, such as nodding, or saying "Yes" and "No", ok?)
Nikkili shrugged at the thought of how it got so messed up, and seen that the sun was almost perfectly set. He brought a watch, but it was broken "Good thing this isn't my better one..." he said as he examined the fractured glass in his watch. He looked around, trying to figure out where they might be. Since the sun was perfectly setting, he knew that the school must be some-where up north. "We gotta go, should we scavenge any more supplies?" Nikkili asked. -
(Ok)
"I think we have enough." Erika looked at the setting sun. If this hasn't had happened, then they would be trying to survive on their own. So really, this wasn't much different then if they were in the arranged venue. Except, they were now the only ones in the exam. No, this wasn't the exam anymore. Erika frowned.
Marina swam through the pond surface. She straightened out her brown dress. Then she walked forward. She heard talking and ducked behind a tree. She slowly peeked from behind the tree. She saw two humans. Marina ducked in a shallow breath. The last time she saw a human in these woods was two hundred years ago. She never found out what happened to that human. Marina got as close as she could without being in plain sight. -
Human Narrator - Nikkili was busy trying to figure out a way towards the road, fumbling with a compass and torn map, when he heard a small rumbling in the bushes. He was about to say some-thing, but in-stead ducked behind the bushes, eventually grabbing Erika's arm, and said "some-thing's here. I don't know how we got like this, but this ain't just some regular, every-day crap!" Nikkili hurriedly said. He knew he had to get out of easy sight fast, so he trailed towards a large tree, and tried to climb up, but that flared a pain in his left side.
"Do you have any idea what happened?!" Nikkili hurriedly and anxiously asked --
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mysterious Narrator - Oh, I do love interrupting. I must say some-thing my-self.
Human Narrator - Really? I was just, I was just about to finish --
Mysterious Narrator - Yes, yes old chap. Let me continue.
Human Narrator - But you --!
Mysterious Narrator - Nikkili had ducked behind some bushes and asked Erika questions, aware of 'most' of his surroundings, but what he DIDN'T realize was the shadow. There was nothing there, no body, no voice, no nothing, just a shadow of a large cloaked being. It was hidden behind many bushes and growth, but it was coming ever so slightly closer... Until it merged with Nikkili's shadow. -
("Oh, I do love interrupting" XD)
"No..." Erika answered slowly. She sat in silence until Nikkili started asking questions. Erika answered most of them. Then she looked around. "Why did you hide? I don't see, or hear, anything." Erika looked at the large, green expanse of forest.
Marina's eyes widened as she noticed two shadows merging. She assumed it was the Shadow Assassin. That's what Marina's parents called the one who lurked in the shadows taking care of assassinations. Marina jumped up, causing Erika to scream. Marina drew out water from the pond and used it to pull Nikkili and Marina into the darkness of the forest. The Shadow Assassin hopefully couldn't stay in the shadow if the shadow couldn't be seen. -
Mysterious Narrator - The Assassin knew what had happened, his target had escaped, or more or less, was forced to escape. It could stay in the shadow as long as it wanted, and could even bend the shadows. It's target was weak, and it knew no severe actions were of need to be taken, so it slowly sunk away, in-to the shadows, lurking about.
Human Narrator - Ok, now my -
Mysterious Narrator - Turn? Thank you.
Human Narrator - NOT YOURS, MINE SCREW YOU!
*Rummaging and fighting*
Narrators - Uuuugggghhhh.... -
Erika tumbled onto the ground after water wrapped around her waist and pulled her back. She jumped up to be face to face with a girl who looked her age. Except she had green skin. Erika screamed and fell over. "W-who are you. What a-are you?
Marina jumped when Erika screamed. Then she straightened and smiled. "I'm Marina. I'm a descendent of the Swamp Monster. Pleased to meet you." Marina held out her hand, but pulled it back when she saw the look of fear on Erika's face. "Did I scare you?" -
IHLAOY Newbie(Huh, weird, I just finished a character arc for someone exactly like Fate about a week ago. And I mean exactly, her name was even Fate.
Though, my Fate wasn't magical; just a schizophrenic homeless eight year old.)
A strange sound roused Grant from his sleep. With a twitch, he forced his eyes open. There was a pressure building in his head and the feeling of something sticky gluing his hair back. His stomach hurt too, worse than that time he took a punch to the gut. It was his fault though, he kinda deserved it.
Fighting back the pain and pushing himself to his feet, Grant looked around. Empty trees and overgrown vines. He spun around. There was no sign of anybody else; not the bus, not his friends, nothing. The pressure built on Grant's head as he tried to think back, until he eventually decided that it would be better to just get a move on.
The scream he'd heard earlier sounded close, so Grant decided that it would be easiest to investigate that first.
