He took a dish from her and grabbed two spoons. "here. I just flat out don't eat sometimes." -

She followed him into the dining hall with the other dish. "I suppose that works better with magic, there's probably some sort of spell or something, right?" -
He laughed lightly. "There isn't a spell for everything you know." He set his dish down and sat down.

oh i get it i put a heart at the end and it does the thing
"Wait, I thought you made your own spells." She sat beside him, instead of at the end of the table. "Isn't that what you were doing earlier?"

He shrugged. "I do make spells, but I have never made one like that. Although you gave me the idea." He laughed lightly. "Yes, I was. But that spell was a failure until I test it again tomorrow."

"Can I help later?" she asked.

He blinked slowly and thought for a moment. "I suppose. Do you know the basic of alchemy?"

She frowned. "No."

He laughed lightly. "I could teach you."

"Alright, then." She put down her spoon and focused on him. "Teach me."

He blinked and looked at her. "Right now?"

"Why not?" she asked.

He sighed lightly. "Alright." He summoned a piece of chalk. He then cleared part of the table. "The basics of alchemy are the laws of alchemy. There is the law of creation and the law of destruction. Creating is very easy." He drew a circle with two triangles poking out of it. "Now watch." He placed his hands on two parts of the triangle and sparks flew, creating a small wooden figure.

She instinctively scooted the chair back a little. Magic wasn't her favorite thing, but she wanted to know what that thing was that would make him invincible.
